Michigan finishes at 8-5. Bad by program standards. And yet: -Beat Minnesota for the Brown Jug. -Beat MSU for Paul Bunyan. -Beat NU for the Jewett trophy. -Beat #2 OSU in historic upset. -Beat #11 Bama in a bow. Not sure any Michigan team got more bang for the buck.

🇺🇸NEW: Jeff Crosby shares the legacy of his father, Harry "Croz" Crosby, a WWII hero and "Master of the Air." His message is clear: Trump embodies everything his father fought against. "He’d crawl out of his grave and into a B-17" to stop Trump. Now, it’s our turn to fight back—by voting for @KamalaHarris and protect everything so many served to defend.

Half of American car trips are under 3 miles. It's silly not to build more bike infrastructure.

So appreciate this. Across the pond, Patrick McGoohan (Secret Agent Man) and Patrick MacNee (John Steed) also spied responsibly.

Violence has no place in America. We beat Trump at the ballot box, and then through the fair and impartial administration of our justice system. Not any other way. RETWEET if you agree. As Democrats we need to get the message out that we deplore political violence of *any* kind.

Vice President Harris: Donald Trump got word that a bipartisan border security bill was going to be passed, and he killed the bill Bash: I remember that Vice President Harris: That bill would have put 1,500 more agents on the border and allowed us to increase seizures of fentanyl Bash: So you would push that legislation again? Vice President Harris: Not only push it, I will make sure that it comes to my desk, and I would sign it

MONTY PYTHON’S LIFE OF BRIAN was released 45 years ago today. The second entry in the Monty Python film series, and regarded among the great British comedies, the story of how it was made will have you asking what have the Romans ever done for us…? 1/47

Today, I announced $2.2 billion to strengthen our grid and expand transmission nationwide—part of the largest federal investment in grid infrastructure to date. This builds on the Biden-Harris Administration's work to lower energy costs and prevent outages amid extreme weather.
On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm traveled to North Carolina to highlight the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to improving grid resilience and reliability, increasing access to clean energy, and create healthier and safer environments for Americans.
