Measured in gold, prices for new houses in the US are approaching all-time lows...
In other words, while housing prices remain unaffordable for most Americans in dollar terms, they're becoming incredibly cheap when measured in real money... Gold.
That's what happens when you measure the value of assets in a currency that's being debased.
The houses aren't necessarily getting cheaper... The dollar is losing purchasing power against gold.
And this is just the beginning.
We don't own enough gold for what's coming.

Poverty. Uncertified teachers. Emergency hiring. District size. Less per pupil funding than peers with similar poverty %. These are the explanations school boards, superintendents, t/unions, left-leaning politicians give when the scores come back low, and I wanted to see which one the data might confirm.
The data confirmed none of them, worse it showed @austinisd standing alone at the bottom. kendallpace.substack.com/p/a…
Let's see how many of the affected healthcare professionals vote red. That will show the size of the cult.

The #Commanders penultimate offenisve play
Situation: 0:21 remaining, clock is stopped, 2nd & 10 at the SF 28
4 verticals here is ludicrous, especially with three of them being in effectively the same alley on the field
Nothing going toward the sideline, and nothing working over the middle intermediate area — obviously that wouldn't be the optimal part of the field to target because of the clock, but you could still get a 10-15-yard completion, clock it, and have 7-8 seconds on the clock
I want to say that Antonio Williams is looking to get on the backside of the play behind the corner after Dyami drags the safety away, but the angle isn't right and he isn't exactly busting a gut to get there. Seems more so like he was just running out of field and was looking for space, but the ball had already been forced out of Jayden's hands
Really bad by Blough in another big moment

WE AUDITED ALL 58 FOREIGN-BORN FEDERAL JUDGES SITTING ON AMERICA'S BENCH FOR LIFE.
I spent over a billion tokens and about 45 days on this deep dive.
Through this deep dive and the over a million court cases we have combed through, we have launched an American First Index (AFI) for the site. (More on it as we improve the metrics and refine deeper.)
Out of 58 sitting foreign-born Article III judges, 43 were appointed by Biden or Obama. Among those drawn from ACLU and public defender pipelines, border enforcement is blocked over 80% of the time and 60% of criminal sentences fall below federal guidelines.
We have added an interactive tool on bench receipts that allows you to drill down and look at how each of these judges behave on the bench.
This is just the start. The federal judges are easier to identify than the state level judges. I assume there are 100s if not 1000+ foreign born or first-gen American on our benches.
They do not judge on our laws, they judge on the culture they came from. This is a huge reason our country has lost its identity.

84% of 11-year-olds aren't allowed to leave their street.
53% can't leave their front yard.
92% of 14-year-olds can't leave their neighborhood.
We built a culture obsessed with safety. The result? A generation that's measurably more anxious:

Retirees got richer, at the young's expense:
- They benefit from inflated housing prices due to zoning, regulation, special tax breaks, Fed policy, etc. Pricing out young families.
- Subsidized retirement via Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid, etc., all funded by younger taxpayers
- Tens of trillions in deficit spending, leaving the young with the bill.
- Demanding to be shielded from taxation, increasing the tax burden on the young and defunding police, fire and education.
This chart understates the generational injustice. For example, it doesn't include the ~$300,000 per household of US Government national debt, nor the $88 Trillion in unfunded Social Security and Medicare liabilities.
Would love to see how many penabties occured late in the game and influenced the outcome.
The league may have a problem

Having a train that takes you directly to the airport is genuinely one of the top 10 things a city can offer. No expensive taxis, no sitting in traffic, no begging someone to drop you off. Just get on the train and arrive at the airport. Every major city should have this.

A field trip is supposed to be a break from the usual school day.
For students, it usually is. For teachers, it's an entirely different level of responsibility.
Suddenly, you're managing transportation, coordinating chaperones, keeping track of students in unfamiliar spaces, and making sure everyone has what they need. And unlike your classroom, you can't control most of what's happening around you.
Even the best plans can't account for everything. Someone gets separated from their group. The schedule changes. A student needs help at the worst possible moment.
And through all of it, you're trying to make sure students actually enjoy the experience and learn something.
Field trips can create some of the best school memories. They're also a lot of work, and much of that work happens before students ever step onto the bus.
Here's to the teachers who make these experiences possible and somehow manage to get everyone back to school. 😂
I've watched a lot of football (college and pros) and never seen a teamate stand so close to an injured teamate.
Duke HC Manny Diaz has announced that junior defensive back Kimari Robinson has been suspended from the team indefinitely for assaulting a team medical staffer. Via @PeteNokos
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Duke and coach Manny Diaz have made no announcement suspending Kimari Robinson. The post cites known parody accounts and refers to a viral clip of an on-field swat at a trainer during the Duke-UNC game; no discipline has been confirmed.

Interesting that almost every form of social activity has dropped over the last 30 years except going to concerts. That has increased and probably at a very high record level. Their value rose probably because the alternatives have weakened.

North Carolina A&T students marched an hour each way to vote on the first day of early voting after their campus polling site was removed by the Guilford County Elections Board. Proud 👏🏽
When an opponent plays better in the second half, it is coaching. Why was @JayD__5 under center for the last play? It's obviously not a running play and it is possible he gets stepped on.
The key term is income vs wealth. Wealthy folks pay relatively little in terms of their wealth because they don't rely on taxable income to live. Most of their investment assets are only taxed upon sale or transferred to their kids.
