Another #endlesspossibilities recognition this morning to Tyler Keene (2016) who entered the workforce after graduation and built his career through hands-on experience, hard work, determination, and learning from some of the best master mechanics in the industry. At The Gravel Company in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Tyler has worked his way up to Director of Fleet Operations. He oversees a fleet of heavy equipment and commercial vehicles while continuing to serve as the company’s heavy-equipment mechanic. Tyler reminds us that "...success doesn’t always follow one predetermined path. I took the opportunities in front of me, worked hard, continued learning, and turned hands-on experience into a successful career and leadership position." Congratulations, Tyler!

Our principals and supervisors kicked off the new year with purpose and creativity! During today's leadership meeting, the group participated in a "One Word, One Why" activity, building LEGO models that represented their leadership focus for the year ahead. It was a powerful way to reflect, collaborate, and commit to leading with intention as we work together to support student success. #OneWordOneWhy #StrongerTogether #LeadWithPurpose #OneDistrictOneTeamEveryStudent

For the 2026-27 school year, @TCSchools_ is enhancing safety at our three high schools with the implementation of new security screening systems. This advanced technology helps us maintain a secure learning environment while allowing students, staff, and visitors to enter our schools efficiently. The safety and well-being of everyone on our campuses remains one of our top priorities as we continue to invest in measures that support safe, welcoming schools for all. #StudentSafety

Day 2 of our New Teacher Academy was full of collaboration, creativity, and plenty of fun! Our newest educators jumped into hands-on team-building exercises that can easily be adapted for their own classrooms. Learning together, laughing together, and sharing ideas reminded us that the possibilities are truly endless when great educators come together. We’re excited to see these teachers take what they’ve learned and create engaging, welcoming classrooms for students across our district. The future is bright! #OneDistrictOneTeamEveryStudent
