As a teenager, I volunteered and knocked on doors for Barack Obama. I cried when Hillary lost in 2016.

He announced the Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program today. You report fraud at fraud.gov, and if it's real, you get paid. Trump's words: "If you find a billion dollars, we are giving a commission to that person of 1%."

California's answer was reportedly a law to shut down Nick Shirley. Trump's answer is to deputize the whole country.

Senator Elissa Slotkin wants to arrest Trump officials as a "deterrence."
Her real target, she says: young Trump supporters.
She wants to scare them by having them see older Trump officials prosecuted and fear they are next.
This is textbook fascism and tyranny.
Prosecute your political enemies. Scare off their young supporters.
Slotkin is using junior varsity CIA tactics against young Americans.
She must face a Senate Ethics Committee investigation.
Get out and vote. The lawfare gets much worse if you don't.

Let me break down what I'm seeing and hearing here from DR.
I don't know DR's source for these materials , but they appear completely legit and are profoundly disturbing.
These are leading members of the Democrat Party hatching up the following strategy:
1. After the midterms, use the DSA to incite and carry out violent civil unrest.
2. Make the violent civil unrest so bad that Trump must invoke the Insurrection Act.
3. Use the invocation of the Insurrection Act to create a national sense of illegitimacy whereby Democrat governors appear justified in taking the extreme action of refusing to acknowledge federal authority and push to form a new form of federal government via various means, including an Article V transformation of the Constitution.
Maybe there is more to this and it's not as bad as it seems, but right now this appears to be a conspiracy to create the next Fort Sumter.
This is a CIA-style color revolution in real time, on our own soil.
(Of course the legacy media is nowhere near this--it takes us Internet randos to get the word out.)

Then, a lot of coordinated responses kick off, including delegitimizing the federal government itself and handing that legitimacy to Democratic governors. 2028 then becomes a vote on whether to keep America governance as-is or to burn it all down to appease a "young and brown" demographic.
The mysterious group who's been coordinating 50501, Indivisible, and coordinating the NoKings protests is called "United Democracy Alliance" and their intellectual leader is Erica Chenoweth who came up with the 3.5% rule of nonviolent regime change.

My thoughts on Senator Slotkin’s U of C remarks and Republicans’ hypocritical reactions. "Trump won the election and could have stopped the cycle. But that was contrary to his vengeful nature and, in any event, would have been seen by his side as unilateral disarmament. And so he engaged in astonishingly harsh and broad retaliation for what the Biden administration did, in order to deter rivals on many dimensions. The Democrats are now contemplating whether and how to respond when they gain power. The incentive for brutal retaliation will be overwhelming, especially since it will be argued, just as Vance argued, that the other side has already done it, will do it again if possible, and thus must be maximally deterred.

Given how Susan Rice phrases her threats here, I'm tempted to say that she's making a naughty list (vs. a good kids list) and checking it twice. It's effectively Susan Santa.
But the threat here of Lawfare is far too serious. She's not even back into power yet and she's already making dire threats.
It's very alarming. Put this together with Senator Slotkin's threats when she was recently speaking at the University of Chicago (which I covered last night) and you see how political competition is being put on the executioner's block for 2027+ or 2029+ .
Susan Rice offers a taste of what’s coming should the left retake power — promises Democrats will punish corporations and other institutions who have “taken a knee to Trump.”
