I studied Design Technology at GCSE and A-Level. I loved it and It’s been vital training for my career. Dyson is absolutely right, the 40% decline in DT is bad news. To compete globally we need engineers. @DTassoc

On one hand, it’s great to see so many students performing well in #DT this year, after a turbulent couple of years 👍👏
On the other, it is shocking to see 2022 has had a decrease of 12,400 students studying the #gcse compared to 2019 😱😠
