Some thirty years on since @Nyetimber's first commercial harvest, John has tasted through seven vintages of the estate’s flagship Blanc de Blancs with winemaker @GreatrixBrad.

It's been a busy weekend, beginning with a playful #Champagne vs #EnglishSparkling tasting, filmed in my back garden for @ARTEfr. We tasted @BrideValleyWine and @AlburyVineyard

In unsurprising news... @lismorewine is a brilliant host and total legend.
Perhaps more insightful info... her '20 Estate Chard is nothing short of ridiculously good. Haven't had a SA Chard epiphany that big in years. Buy!!

I turned 40 yesterday, and celebrated over the weekend with so many great friends, family and wines including wines from the four decades of my life... 82, 92, 02, 12. Obviously #EnglishWine featured strongly too, including @Nyetimber 92, @__H_R__ and @AlburyVineyard 12.
Great to catch up with the man that helped kick off my wine journey, @RobbiePriddle. I think we first met over a glass of @RKershawWines Chardonnay at an @NakedWines tasting. And we've shared the epic @Nyetimber BdB 92 once before. Hugely value your friendship & generosity mate. – at South East, England
Sensational 82, 92, 02, 12 line-up was a fitting selection to toast to @john_mobbs 40th. Terrific afternoon w old friends+ new 🥳

Blue skies and sun, has the spring finally arrived? Today I revised one of my favourite #EnglishSparkling Rosé of last year, @BalfourWinery Saignée Rosé 2018 and paired with a duo of tasty homemade pizzas. Yum, I just can't get enough of this wine!
Back tasting blind with @BlindFaithWine Season 4... round one was one of the hardest rounds I can recall. Well, at least it was to me 😆😵💫 – at South East, England

Screwcap v Cork continued…
Cork - Higher stakes - risk/reward…reward won the day
Screwcap - Rise of the food technicians. Older wines definitely had that after the ‘Best Before Date’ taint.
It was great to put my blind tasting practice (thanks @BlindFaithWine) to test at @DanburyRidge for a rather epic international Pinot Noir tasting with the Danbury team, Matt @grapebritannia and @atkinson_mw. I brought along @Begude Capella Pinot Noir.

It was a pleasure to be back at @DanburyRidge to taste some the hotly anticipated 2020 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, as well as an exclusive preview of the outstanding #EnglishSparkling that will be coming in a year or two. It was perfect to toast to winemaker Liam's 40th birthday!

Françoise has reviewed the very food (and #Valentines) friendly @All_Angels_ Sparkling Rosé 2016, which she described as having "delicious summer berry flavours and expansive fruit palate"

£for£, I really do think this @lismorewine Chardonnay is one of the very best Chardonnay in the world. It's exceptional at normal price, but at £18 in the @majesticwine sale 😲. The richness, balance and complexity here is just on another level. – at South East, England
But I have to question why this wine is even on clearance? Is it down to a fundamental issue with the @majesticwine review system? Why is a customer who writes no words allowed to review bomb three separate 2/5 ratings for no apparent reason. Im sure this impacted sales. – at South East, England
