The most games I've watched in a long time. The winning streaks, the losing months, the bullpen chaos, and a fun September. I just hope we see some baseball in 2027. Here's to a sea of San Diegans standing as one again.
Elimination didnt hurt as much as game 2 in this series. Brewers proved they're pitching depth is the real deal. Here's to them containing the Dodger bats.
That late inning scenario is what the Padres bullpen was setup for, so the hurt comes from not executing late. It's a love/hate relationship right now for me with baseball.

Ethan Salas is now the youngest Padre with a postseason hit, and it comes against Jacob Misiorowski. He's the first 20-year-old catcher with a hit in the postseason since Joe Garagiola in the 1946 World Series.

FINAL: Padres 4, Cubs 1
The hottest team in baseball takes care of business in the wild card and sets up a date with top-seeded Milwaukee. San Diego pitched exceptionally, got hitting up and down the lineup, and looks every bit a contender for their first World Series title.

Pitching wins championships and the Padres held the top scoring offense in baseball to 1 run. On to Milwaukee!
