$AVGO leap combo $3.44 to $30 still holding. I opened this combo a few weeks ago. One of my favorite ways to get long: sell put spreads → use the credit to help fund LEAP calls. Small debit, capital efficient, and I use margin rather than tying up a lot of cash. For larger accounts, I actually prefer structures like this over simply buying ATM LEAPs. But understand the risk: if AVGO goes south, I have to be comfortable owning the shares at my short-put strike. I’m short 4x $300 puts = potential obligation to buy 400 shares at $300 if I choose assignment over taking the loss. That’s the trade-off for the asymmetric upside. Never sell puts at a price you wouldn’t be happy becoming a bag holder. Planning to close when AVGO hits 400. 🤞 NFA.
