Those Bachmeier checkdowns were really helpful

A once-promising Sharks season full of optimism and expectations is slipping away. Something has to change.

It took Yaxel Lendeborg just five games to become what Jonathan Kuminga failed to be in five Warriors seasons — a sidekick to Steph Curry.

It’s good to have Dame Time back.

Melton has as many points as Podz. Podz is out tonight.

Ron Rivera, who Cal fans so desperately wanted to be given the keys to the program, needs to step in and make sure Tosh Lupoi doesn’t drive this once-promising season into a permanent ditch. The only decision is to start JKS. It’s that simple if you want to win.

Either Tosh Lupoi needs another terrible half to evaluate Jackson Brousseau or there’s more to the story on why JKS isn’t playing.

Go win the World Series, Brewers. You’re the best team in baseball.

Dodgers fans will never forget Jake Bauers, already an all-time Dodgers killer.

Dodgers must make adjustments down 0-2, starting with DH. Shohei Ohtani needs to be benched. Rookie Josue De Paula would have more productive at-bats than him right now.

Give Tosh Lupoi credit for making the necessary change at OC with Pat McCann. Cal’s offense looks more dynamic with some creative play calling. And despite the recent turmoil and injuries, the Bears are 2-1 in the ACC.

49ers are 4-0. Sharks are led by Macklin Celebrini, the NHL’s next big star. But the WNBA Finals-bound Valkyries are the Bay Area’s best sports story.

Dodgers are celebrating like they won a series in June, lol

SENOR OCTOBER

Raiders ended up Raidering against the Chiefs, but at least it happened at the end.

Cal football expectations have already been downgraded to “Just beat Stanford” five games into the Tosh Lupoi era.

“Strength in Numbers” lives on in the Valkyries.

Arike is on one tonight

Early-season Coach of the Year has to be Klint Kubiak, the head coach of the very surprising 3-0 Raiders.
