Some personal news… 💼
Some of you might’ve seen already but this week, I started my new job as a Media Relations Executive with @PressBoxPR. I’m so grateful for the warm welcome from everyone.
Sports editors/reporters/everyone: let’s have a chat!
Plenty saying “he didn’t touch him” or “minimal contact”
Remember when Joao Pedro (at Brighton) tried to elbow a player and missed? Literally everyone said it was a red. Ref botched it.
If you go flying into a high, dangerous challenge with no intent to win ball, it’s a red. 🟥

Just to confirm: Cole Palmer will be suspended for Liverpool in the Carabao Cup in midweek, not Manchester United in the Premier League next weekend
Palmer deserved to be sent off. Rogers fortunate not to be sent off as well.
But I've not heard one word about this challenge from Van de Ven, which happened seconds before the first Palmer yellow card.
Look where the ball is!
Didn't watch the game, just got back and seen the goals. I'm fuming with Palmer.
A mindless decision to go in like that on Fernandes & THEN catching Gallagher on a yellow. Chris Kavanagh is a poor ref but he got this one right)
When JP was out, knew it'd be a bad day. #CFC

Dalot has seen off Mourinho, Solskjaer, Rangnick, Ten Hag, Amorim and now (likely) Carrick, not counting 4 caretakers/interims.
How many more is he going to outlast? I’m genuinely impressed he’s still there. #MUFC
Juventus are a terrible team. Legitimately awful.
Gattuso is far from an elite coach. But his Lazio team look like Harlem Globetrotters.
I considered watching Southend United today, then saw the starting XI. They lost 2-1 to Berkhamstead.
How do lower league clubs expect to get fans in the door if they don't take FA Cup seriously? Roots Hall usually gets 8,000+ for league games. Only 4,600 today, which says a lot
The thing is Yarmoliuk doesn't actually aim his headbutt at Jacquet.
Looks like he tries to confront him with the chest because Jacquet's moving into him and catches him with the head instead. A strange one.
Such a silly thing to do when 1-0 up though. Andrews will be fuming.
Walton having a shocker for Ipswich.
Should've saved both Foden and Haaland's efforts. If you're a promoted team with a below-average keeper, you're going down. Simple as that. #ITFC
That’s a big win for Chelsea. Back-to-back wins and a CLEAN SHEET! The defence were superb, Everton didn’t have a lot but they dealt with everything.
Hopefully Martinez is OK and can enjoy the clean sheet. 💙
Things are looking good under Alonso. #CFC
Palmer should’ve played in Rogers there but Joao Pedro *has* to make that 2-0.
Going to be a lot of stoppage time as well. That could’ve been the moment to kill the game and we’ve not taken it. #CFC
That’s a really worrying clash of heads for Emi Martinez. Looked like he was knocked out cold instantly. Hope he’s OK. Good to see Branthwaite up and walking.
Feel like I just saw Martinez’s leg move? So hoping it’s not as serious as it looks.
Big chance for Mike Penders. #CFC
