Tonight, 9pm! This was a long time in the making - but I’m thrilled to see it finally hit the screens and delighted to have played a small role in making that happen. Big up to the brilliant Expectation team. Please watch!

Channel 4, ITV, Sky all have big guns in play, which does make the BBC line-up very jarring. Caitríona Perry and Sumi Somaskanda are poised and polished, but (through no fault of their own) completely unknown to UK audiences. Gets weirder seeing Clive Myrie playing second fiddle.

Still bittersweet without him, but I hope he'd be proud. ❤️ Please watch Hell Jumper on Wed 24th July at 9pm on BBC2 and iPlayer

Agree. The first accurate portrayal of adoption that I’ve seen on screen. And my goodness, Gwyneth Keyworth steals the show. With just one scene. Watch watch watch.
Just finished @Dafydd__James stunningly beautiful Lost Boys & Fairies… utterly brilliant on every level but holy shit, Gwyneth Keyworth!!! One scene. Takes the script in both hands and tears your heart open with it. Gobsmacking. Deserves every plaudit coming her way. 💥💥💥
Exciting stuff!

Forever proud of this series, the Expectation team and the indescribably talented @lunedtonderai and @markcooperjones Please watch, Monday, C4, 9pm. A series that will shock, grip and move you in equal measure.
Like most who saw it, I've never forgotten the 2004 reality show There's Something About Miriam. And so it was a privilege to work with such an amazing team on a documentary series about that show, and the life & death of its star, Miriam Rivera. It starts on @Channel4 Monday 9pm

From Miriam being "revealed" as a transgender woman to contestants trashing the set, it was the cruellest reality show ever. I wrote about There's Something About Miriam, the tragic fallout and why it was a TV low theguardian.com/tv-and-radio…
