So now they’re blaming Notre Dame burning on immigrants. Is there nothing we can’t blame them for?
Replying to @brivael
I'm not French, and also not retarded.. I remember how the French vote, and it's leftist! I call bullshit in this post. The right was correct and screaming, and you rejected the calls and warnings. Notre Dame burned from "newcomers" in 2019 and still in 22 and again in 24 you all voted leftist.
Here's the truth:
In both 2017 & 2022 presidential elections — French voters directly chose Emmanuel Macron over Marine Le Pen twice, by large margins (~66–34 in 2017, ~58–42 in 2022). Le Pen was the clear anti-mass-immigration candidate both times. Voters picked the more open/centrist option.
2024 legislative elections (June–July) — National Rally led the first round and was projected to win the most seats. In the second round, left-wing and centrist parties withdrew candidates and voters used tactical voting (“republican front”) to block RN. Result: left got the most seats (~180–188), Macron’s bloc second, RN third (~142–143). Voters explicitly rejected giving power to the main anti-immigration party.
2012 presidential — François Hollande (Socialist) defeated Nicolas Sarkozy. Hollande’s government continued relatively open policies on family reunification and regularization.
2007 presidential — Nicolas Sarkozy won on a platform that included tougher immigration rules. He was the right-wing choice at the time and did pass restrictive measures, yet overall immigration levels still rose under his presidency.
So to Summarize last 25 years: In the decisive national votes where immigration was a central dividing line (especially the presidential runoffs against Le Pen), French voters repeatedly chose the candidates and parties that maintained the existing trajectory rather than the strongest restrictionist option. The 2024 legislative result was a clear, recent rejection of handing power to RN.
So again.. bullshit, the French are leftist. And leftists never take responsibility for what they've done.
Conservative is just maturity and politics... Try voting for that, or not voting at all.
What is the rule about the phone on the table during dinner? Is that all meals? Is there a quorum requirement? Like if I’m eating alone, it’s definitely there.
I don’t think I’ve blocked a single person on this app. I muted this one dude that was just exhausting but that’s it.
Now plenty of motherfuckers have blocked me on the other hand.
I think this is telling in how I see the world and what I’m like.
And here I was thinking it was totally fake.
I hate to be the one to burst the Tesla bubble today, but the spectacular “flight” we witnessed at the Roadster reveal needs a little context. The car is carrying around 250kg of compressed air, plus the weight of the tanks, valves and thrusters needed to contain and release it.
Based on the published figures, that gives it roughly 1.5–2 seconds of maximum thrust before the system needs to be refilled.
In short, it's a gimmick.

Dear @katiezacharia — speaking as the world's leading expert on short White House tenures: turn off the news and go enjoy your family. In time you’ll realize that the Universe did you a major favor.
Andy Harris is a lawyer yet doesn’t understand what “two-party state” means nor apparently what “press conference” means neither.

Listen, I haven’t seen every video on the Internet, so I can’t say with certainty, but this could quite possibly be the greatest video ever created
This is subjective but …
Name three PERFECT movies. No argument. No explanation. Just three flicks you think are perfect. Here's mine:
1. Lone Star
2. Michael Clayton
3. Millers Crossing
