5 votes • Final resultsMy Joe Vite channel is sadly pretty much dead... but there's good news! I applied for monetization on my new Joe Reframe channel, and it's doing really good :)
Also, taking a break from Discord seems to be doing wonders for my mental health, which is kinda sad...
I'm completely baffled to see that after months, YouTube hasn't changed one bit. They're still demonetizing channels unfairly. Unless you have a HUGE audience, there's literally nothing you can do. I'm devastated to see so many creators' livelihoods taken away over nothing.
Youtubes AI decided to completely demonetize my main channel for "misleading family content". My videos have never been put as "made for kids" nor do I advertise my channel as such. I've seen this happen with animation channels before, but I literally SHOW MY FACE in my videos. I've had my channel for over 9 years and I've rarely even had age restrictions or videos taken down.
What's odd about this is I've even had partner managers in the past I've communicated with. I've met partner managers IN REAL LIFE at creator cons and events. My channel clearly does not advertise to young minors intentionally or unintentionally for "sexual content or violence" like wtf😭?
I am asking youtube to please have a Human Reviewer check this clear false demonetization @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators @YouTube

122 days after the demonetization, I'm able to reapply again. I completely reinvented my channel, switched to long forms, started using my real voice and changed my editing style. I sincerely hope my efforts will pay off... Very excited, but anxious!

The problem is, YouTube's current detection system is exceptionally flawed, thousands of creators such as myself lost everything because these detection systems falsely flagged content as mass-produced and you don't give us a chance to prove it wrong.

62 days ago, YouTube unfairly demonetized my channel without a reasonable explanation. So I decided to launch a @Patreon and it was a great decision! My viewers are helping me cover a lot of my expenses, which relieves so much stress. Huge thanks to everyone who's helping me:)
107 extremely amazing people are now helping me keep my dream alive, when a big soulless corporation is trying to take it away. I felt powerless because nothing I tried worked. But now I think I may still have a chance.
One year ago, I released a demo for my indie game, Reframe RPG. Sadly, the game failed... But I learned a lot and I received so much positive feedback from it. I sincerely hope that I'll be able to continue the development in the future...
