Was actually having a chat with my barber this morning about why you supported a particular team. Where we’re from we have a few options, but for me, even though it was my family’s team anyway, it was the conductor that sealed the deal. Loved his passion!

A Muslim passenger: "Excuse me, would you turn off the music?" The driver: "Why?" The passenger: "Music is haram." The driver: "Why is music haram?" The passenger: "Because there was no music in the time of prophet Muhammad." The driver: "Well, get off then. There were no cars back then either. A camel will come pick you up." 😂🤭😂

Remember that 19 Yazidi girls were burned alive in iron cages by ISIS for refusing to convert to Islam and become sex slaves. ISIS paraded them through the streets of Mosul, then burned them in front of hundreds of people. Not a single Muslim or pro-Palestinian activist protested for the Yazidis!

As a Muslim, I have a question for my own community. Why do we demand freedom to build mosques, preach Islam, and wear the hijab in non-Muslim countries... Yet in some Muslim-majority countries, churches are restricted, Christian evangelism is criminalised, and converts live in fear. If religious freedom is a right for us, it is a right for everyone. Truth does not need censorship to survive.

SNP & Swinney blaming Reform and Restore for the “far-right rise” is peak gaslighting. You spent years putting migrants, asylum hotels, and woke school lectures ahead of actual Scottish people. You ignored housing queues, service strain, and voters who never asked for any of it. Then when Reform (and harder-edged Restore) start picking up the pieces, you clutch pearls and call them the problem. Scotland didn’t vote for prioritising foreigners while locals wait years for a flat. Didn’t vote for treating natives like the villains in their own country. Didn’t vote for endless “welcoming nation” virtue-signalling while Scotland drowns in asylum costs and waiting lists. You refused to listen. You doubled down. You excluded anyone who noticed. Now the backlash is somehow their fault? No. It’s the direct result of SNP priorities. Own it.

While the world watches the war, the Islamic Republic of Iran hanged a 19-year-old boy today. His name is Erfan Esfandiari and he was his parents' only child. He did not kill anyone. He did not carry a weapon. His crime, according to the Islamic Republic, was opening a door. Sheltering protesters who were running from security forces. That was enough to send him to the gallows. Erfan was one of 12 young men in the Alikhani Square case in Isfahan, arrested during the January 2026 uprising. Yesterday, all 12 were moved to quarantine. Today, the Islamic Republic hanged him. This is a government that is so terrified of a generation that refuses to be silent, that it executes teenagers for the act of compassion. Say his name. Because the regime is already trying to erase him. Because his mother and father are left with nothing, not even the right to grieve loudly.

Today I saw Shabir Ahmed the leader of the Rochdale grooming gang sitting on a bench outside of Mc’donalds and British heart foundation in bury town centre at 2:40pm, this man is a prolific peadophile and only got released from prison on the 2nd of July, the government is currently trying to shoo him off back to Pakistan. Please make people aware!!! So many children go through the town centre and he was just sitting there, watching. No one knew who he was!!! He’s back in bury please warn everyone and their kids Credit #Restore

💙Happy 67th Birthday to 'The Conductor', Graham Roberts. He joined #Rangers from Spurs for £450k in 1986, scored 3 goals in 69 games, and won a League Title and League Cup. He ended up being sold for £475k to Chelsea in 1988 after clashing with Manager Graeme Souness.

🚨Zlatan Ibrahimovic on VAR after Croatia’s last-minute equaliser vs Portugal was ruled out:* This referees are doing everything possible for Ronaldo to win the world cup but they will say Messi is the FIFA boy , This ball was never an Offside because the ball didn't touch the Croatia player , This is pure daylight robbery. "The referee and VAR have just erased what should have been one of the greatest moments of this World Cup.” "Let’s be clear: if you’re going to cancel a goal in the 90th minute, the evidence has to be beyond doubt. I’ve watched the incident multiple times, from every angle, and I still don’t see anything conclusive enough to overturn it.” "If you’re in that VAR room for minutes, pausing, zooming, drawing lines to a shoulder, a boot, a heel… it’s not clear and obvious. And if it’s not clear, the goal must stand. That’s the whole point of VAR.” "The referee has allowed technology to become the main character. But fans don’t fill stadiums or stay up late to watch a screen. They come for football — for drama, for emotion, for moments you remember forever.” "Croatia showed real fight. They dug in, they scored late, they thought they’d earned a dramatic equaliser to keep their dream alive. Then one decision ripped it away, and that decision will be argued about for years.” "This is why confidence in VAR is collapsing. It’s no longer fixing obvious mistakes. It’s hunting millimeters that nobody in the stadium can see with their own eyes. That’s not what football is supposed to be.” "I feel for those Croatian players more than anything. You celebrate, you believe your World Cup is back on, and then it’s gone in seconds. For me, the referee on the pitch and VAR in the booth both got it wrong.

The only player I truly felt sorry for in today’s Portugal vs. Croatia game was Luka Modrić. Imagine playing the last World Cup of your career, your team completely outplaying Portugal, creating chance after chance, while you’re still solving difficult situations in midfield at 40 years old. Then imagine Portugal scoring the winner in the 94th minute, and Croatia scoring twice afterward… only for both goals to be ruled out, including one in the 103rd minute because the ball barely touched a Croatian player’s hair. The two pictures say it all. In the first, Modrić looks heartbroken after Portugal scored in the 94th minute. That’s football—it happens. In the second, after Croatia’s last-second equalizer was ruled out, he was so shocked that he just started laughing like a madman. Modrić experienced one of the cruelest possible endings to an international career. The only comfort is that he finished his international journey as the winner of the World Cup Best Player award, a recognition he fully deserved. Farewell, Luka Modrić. ❤️

I cannot believe we have got to the point where a ball lightly touching the tips of someone’s hair is being measured by a Snickometer in order to disallow a goal. The ball’s trajectory and spin were not affected at all. The offside law was created to stop goal-hanging - it was never intended to be an exact science. It was never created so that one day artificial intelligence could measure toenails offside and use a snicko to check if someone’s touched a ball. It was created to stop strikers from man-marking goalkeepers all game. VAR was meant to be reserved for clear and obvious decisions. We used to understand that football is better and more entertaining when goals are scored. That meant that for offsides: in case of doubt, the benefit was given to the attacker while in-line was always onside. Now we’re using 3D generated AI technology to check toes to the millimetre and extreme microphones to measure minuscule decibels with the aim of disallowing goals and ruining football as a spectacle. Do they ever ask if we want these changes, do they market test any of it? What an extra time awaited us for the #Portugal v #Croatia game, unfortunately we will never get to see it thanks to the madness that VAR has descended into.

VAR is ripping the soul out of football. Croatia scored an equaliser 13 minutes into injury time against Portugal and then VAR took the goal away and took them out of the World Cup.
