In more uplifting news, @jndyck forced me out of my #Bluejays funk by making me take a photo of tonight's moon. It's spectacular!

We just finished harvesting our cereals! And it feels good. It's been a busy few weeks (in a good way).

Last weekend, @jndyck and I went with friends to the Black Hills. We trailered two motorcycles - my KLR 650 and Mark's Tiger. This is a brief video of our rides on the scenic roads weaving through the hills.

Part four of #nolongerstrandedinthesoo: two croissants, a McDonald's stop and about $1M in fuel later, we are about 10 minutes from the MB border. We're tired, irrational and excited to be close to home.

Part three of #nolongerstrandedinthesoo: it's 6 a.m., we finished The Fugitive (spoiler: Dr. Kimble is innocent), we survived the night and we're brewing coffee with our MSR stove outside our motel room before hitting the road.

Part seven of #strandedinthesoo: we get phone call en route to the garage saying Explorer is ready to go!

Part six of #strandedinthesoo: a call from garage saying the part has arrived and that they may have to destroy a ball joint in order to remove the old transfer case - extra $300. And then @jndyck and I check out of hotel, which lets us store our stuff and use a room for work.

Part five of #strandedinthesoo: @jndyck and I enjoy the sunset from our hotel room and then, after a great night's sleep, visit the @BreakfastPigSSM for a delicious meal - jalapeno and bacon mac and cheese breakfast skillet.

Part four of #strandedinthesoo: @jndyck and I grab lunch at the Machine Shop district before watching a few boats travel through the locks (this happened yesterday - I'm just recapturing our shenanigans in sequence).

Part three of #strandedinthesoo: a huge thanks to our amazing friends @paoloz5 and Mike for a: a great vacation on Prince Lake near Sault Ste. Marie and b: driving us around after our vehicle's failing transfer case diagnosis. #robertsoncliffstrail

Part two of #strandedinthesoo: Quality Inn Bay & Suites allows us to exchange money for shelter, agrees to store our bikes and bags for as long as we need and opens up its closed restaurant for us to work in until our room was ready.

Part one of our #strandedinthesoo series: the Explorer's transfer case calves and we learn that Ford makes them unrepairable. Until the replacement arrives and this recommended garage can intall it, @jndyck and I will be exploring this interesting city.
