Your excuse for not bettering yourself is hiding behind the insults you throw at others. Heaven forbid a girl go to the gym to celebrate and enjoy the body she’s building. We go gym.

TLDR: being adults and living in reality during the holidays sucks

Perhaps the reason my heart longs for the holidays so much right now is the need for the feelings of nostalgia of holiday magic from my childhood… where nothing really mattered besides my costume or the lights and decorations. I had no idea what my parent’s budget for anything was, or what sort of PTO was saved. I wasn’t burdened by the heaviness of adulthood and how difficult life can be, despite the upcoming holidays. So I guess my responsibility now is to protect my kids from those feelings, because their childhood is my motherhood. The older I get the more I feel I owe my parents an apology for not realizing sooner how much harder everything is. ADHD is weird because I feel like we learn some things suuuuper quickly and others it’s like I’m years late to the party. Oh well. If you made it this far thanks for being here, I hope your family is doing well 🤍

This memory from my mission popped up on my Facebook today so I thought I’d share it here 🤍 John 16:7- "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you." There will be times in our lives that we will feel lonely, hopeless, and abandoned by God. However with our knowledge of Jesus Christ and of his character we know that these feelings are not a cause for alarm. Through the covenants we make, He promises us that he will NEVER leave us comfortless. With that being said why is it possible for us to experience those feelings of despair? As I studied this scripture, the spirit bore witness to my heart of the love that the Savior truly has for each one of God's children. Whenever you are struggling to feel the spirit, please read this scripture! Christ will never leave us comfortless or alone. When we are baptized we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. When we feel comforted, we know that the spirit is with us. However when we are struggling to feel the spirit and feel as though we have been left alone, know that it is the Savior who has taken his place and is right there beside us because he is the only one who can sufficiently support and deliver us. When you find yourself in times of hopelessness and despair, I would exhort each of you to look for the Savior who is truly standing beside you. He knows. He has suffered even as you have suffered, and he is eager and willing to lift our burdens if we will turn to him. ❤ -Sister Jam 10/19/18

🚨 Heads up to anyone who owns an Hyundai Elantra!!🚨 Apparently you can break into it with a USB port so they’re being targeted all over Salt Lake County 🫪 *not my car, but my neighbor’s car was attempted to be broken into and they luckily called the police in time! Stay safe out there!
