The First Minister of Wales promoting cycling to work (and @WeAreTheMU tote bags) - made my day 🎵🚲❤️
I try and cycle to work as often as I can. It keeps me active and gives me some quiet time to think.
I’m happy to support #CycleToWorkDay, and encourage everyone to join in – but don’t forget your helmets!
It’s good for you, and good for the planet.

What a privilege to perform Britten’s ‘Nocturne’ with @ChamberCardiff and @WillStevens4693 in Bristol on Saturday! It’s long been a work at the top of my list to perform.
Had a wonderful rest of the day in the sunshine around Clifton with Hannah, who came along for the trip
Still buzzing after evangelising for the first time at this weekend’s St John Passion with @LondonCityOrch @hesperoschoir! Such an incredible group of musicians inc. amazing soloists led by Thomas Payne: couldn’t have asked for a better team to take this work on with!
Now straight on to another new work: Britten’s ‘Nocturne’ with @ChamberCardiff and @WillStevens4693 on Saturday 29th April. Can’t wait! ticketsource.co.uk/cardiff-c…

Thank you so much for having me @LWbassbaritone @EgChoral! I had a brilliant time performing Venetian works and a new piece by Simon Austin. Such a powerful sound from the choir flanked by excellent brass players: very much enjoyed hearing the Stanford Te Deum finale!
Such a pleasure to hear the terrific young tenor James Beddoe @jmbeddoe at our concert on Saturday. We’re sure he has a great future ahead of him. A wonderful advert for @guildhallschool from where he graduated.

We can’t believe it’s a whole week since our concert! Thank you so very much to all who came to see us. We hope it was obvious that we immensely enjoyed presenting our Victoria Requiem programme to you, and can’t wait for the next opportunity to welcome you again. Here we are in the green room….what a team! Long live the Platinums! 💜
So grateful to @PlatinumConsort and photographer @lidiacrisafulli for these great photos from the Messiah @StJohnsSmithSq last November!
It’s a pleasure to be singing Victoria and other renaissance works with Platinum again tonight @StJPiccadilly

The Apprentice: just finished my conducting lesson with @nic_chalmers at Maida Vale studios - we're down to conduct a Herbert Howells programme for @BBCRadio3 with the brilliant @BBCSingers & @Ashleyjgrote at @Nrw_Cathedral later this year...🤞🎶

🎭 Meet the pupils of St Peter's CoE Primary School, who have started their own Opera company!
With the help of @teesvalleymusic, these students are taking on Mozart's opera, The Magic Flute, as part of the Royal Opera House's national Create & Sing programme.

As if this week couldn’t get any worse, I just found a parallel 5th in the St Matthew Passion. – at South East, England
Such terrible news. The @BBCSingers are integral to our musical culture: there is no other group that does what it does. I feel so sorry for all the fantastic musicians and management staff who have been such a pleasure to work with. This HAS to change bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/2023/b…
