Today, Greg Abbott lowered Texas flags to half-staff for the THIRD anniversary of the October 7 attack in Israel.
On the third anniversary of Uvalde, where nineteen Texas children and two Texas teachers were slaughtered in a Texas elementary school. he DID NOT lower the flags to half-staff. He didn’t even mention it.
Apparently, Israeli children are more important to Greg Abbott, than Texas children.

The ad touted his support for free college tuition.

This builds on @yuval_abraham’s previous reporting on the (incomprehensibly evil) “Where’s Daddy” program the IDF built to learn when fathers were at home with their children so they could kill then all at once (along with anyone else killed in the building during the attack).

THIS right here is exactly why I have been saying for YEARS, as a technocrat, that you should never give technocrats access to power.
Jensen Huang, just yesterday, declared that datacenters are now called "Superintelligence factories". It's not because Huang likes the idea. It's not that he believes a rebrand is necessary. He - and the rest of these guys - are doing it because they have no guiding compass beyond consolidation of power to themselves and shareholder value (as the largest shareholders themselves).
They signed that stupid "superintelligence" executive order because it makes the Mango Messiah happy, and he gives favors if he's happy. These same spineless weasels will be doing a complete 180 and changing their tunes the moment a Dem wins, whispering sweet nothings at the new royalty, in a vainglorious effort to maintain their control. Not a one of them has any sense of value, because none of them have integrity. Every one of them thinks this "superintelligence" rebrand is stupid, I promise you, but not a one of them will say it until the moment they're facing the wall, and then only to save their own skins.
That kind of moral vacuum is NOT who I want consolidating power and control in this nation, and the...not even scope creep, just opening the flood gates, to let technocrats in to gain access to the levers of power that would otherwise keep them in check is going to have far-reaching consequences.
And again, I SAY THIS AS A TECHNOCRAT MYSELF (albeit what I'd like to think an anomalous not-morally- bankrupt one). Government should NEVER give us that kind of access.
The Magadoltians have no idea what they've done - to themselves, their children, their grandchildren by allowing this to happen.
