Yes!! MLs need these objectives but they also need to interact with them before the lesson begins. They act as a navigation system that provides guidance as they journey through the lesson.

I used @GreatMindsEd Wit&Wisdom to create writing tasks that mirror WIDA writing prompts. Modeling language for Ss to copy and use their phonemic awareness.
Also providing scaffolds like pictures with the text. These pictures come from the text Ss have read for the unit.
I love that the tradition continues!
