On December 15, 2021, I received my decision letter to Stanford.
I was admitted to my dream school.
I thought I had the world; my lifelong dream of playing D1 football at an academic and athletic powerhouse had been fulfilled.
Until it wasn’t….

If you’re a business owner you’re leaving $30-$50k MRR on the table without founder led content.
People by from people, not businesses.
Understanding behavioral psychology as a founder is the edge.
No one is coming to save you.

The ego hates when you try to take action because the ego hates everything
You know what’s funny?
Even if you try to do absolutely nothing… it will resist that too
Confused?
Let me show you
Try sitting completely still
- no phone
- no scrolling
- no music
- no stimulation
Within minutes your mind will start screaming at you
- thoughts start racing
- your body gets restless
- you suddenly remember 37 different tasks you need to get back to
It feels as if there’s a monster chasing you
Because here’s the thing:
The ego only wants control
It doesn’t care if it makes you feel stressed or anxious
Anything that threatens its control creates resistance
- the silence that would renew your mind
- the prayer that would humble you
- the work that would build your vision
- the discipline that would free you from impulse
This is why you can know exactly what you should do and still find yourself doing the exact opposite
When you’re trying to work, you hop on Instagram
When you’re trying to sleep, you stress about work
Almost as if the thoughts are automatic
Like orders being barked at you
Constantly being pulled away from whatever is in front of you
“I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep doing.”
— Romans 7:19
This is the war between flesh and spirit
And if you never become aware of the war, you’ll spend your entire life thinking you’re making your own choices
While being controlled by thoughts that aren’t even yours
For the first time in my life I have no spark or drive
Yet I'm completely content; dangerous spot
For those who've lost your spark/drive, how have you handled it? Did you ride the wave; or what was the switch?
Why are so many people dropping out of college and quitting their jobs
Better yet, why is it the only thing I see on my IG algo...
People who are in alignment/living for a bigger purpose have a certain aura to them. Sparkle in their eyes. Lightness in their body but intentionality in their posture. Defined face and physique. They walk smoothly but still quickly. They speak articulately and with energy. They go to bed psychotically early or stay up late in pursuit of their mission. They couldn't fathom doomscrolling, submitting into lust, or burying themselves in gluttony. Their diet, hydration, and fuel is dialed. They respect others. Fear none. Use manners. Read and write like a scholar. Consume a moderate amount of healthy information, then apply it to the real world and exponentially improve upon their skills. Cut off from the news. Barely in touch with sports. Doesn't know a single trend or what's mainstream. Only uses social media to make money or doesn't use it at all. Has an articulate vision that's so detailed you would think they have the strongest form of OCD. Can do 16 hours of deep work a day then outrun you for hours. Lifts like a psychopath. Can sit in a cold tub for an hour and laugh with a friend while doing it. Consumes more creatine and fruit than a college football player. Fuels caffeine into their mission like a supercharger. Is not obsessed with their competitors, but knows exactly what they're doing, how they're doing it, and what their next step is.
When you're fueled by God and the Spirit, you're unstoppable.
But everything is a downstream of your frequency and connection to God; not your "mindset," temporary motivation, or lust to become somebody you'll never be.
Knowing you know nothing is your advantage
Being opening to the vast amount of knowledge and nuances of certain topics/skills allows you to rapidly improve and separate yourself from your competitors

Prayer is a deposit of intention into the field of infinite possibilities, but only if you hold the tension without ejecting.

Self-sabotage usually looks like being reasonable.
“I’m not ready yet”
“Now’s not the right time”
“I don’t want to be impulsive”
“I need to think about it more”
Sounds mature. Most people will even nod and call you wise.
But look at what it’s protecting:
- The job you’ve outgrown
- The relationships that drain you
- The vision that stays a daydream
Reasonableness is how the lower self stays in charge without ever having to admit the truth: It’s afraid.
The Spirit doesn’t care about your comfort. It only cares about the thing you’re here to do. The reason it brought you here in the first place.
It will never yell. It will never force you.
It’s patient. Until the circumstances force you.
Just saw a video of a lash tech lady tell me how she makes more than a lawyer...
Some of you course sellers need a reality check
Filching off ignorant and unconscious people who can't read between the lines

Nobody ever told me as a kid that you've got to love yourself
It sounds soft until you see what it prevents: tolerating the wrong relationships too long, normalizing self-damaging habits, letting your health slide
Make it your default and most of that never happens
