The new @DU_Hockey season began with the same intensity as last one finished—with a Frozen Four rematch and #1 vs. #2 accompanying raising the banner for Denver’s 11th national championship. I’m thrilled to be back as the PA announcer in Magness Arena. #GoPios
The DU Dogs are back for the new season! My nephew and niece, Hudson and Saylor, have made it a tradition to wear the hot dogs at @DU_Hockey games. Their energy is amazing, and they’re getting recognized more and more by fans at Magness Arena. #GoPios
I’ve always been fascinated by the peace and quiet in arenas just hours before a big game. I’m incredibly grateful to play a part in the big energy that @DU_Hockey inspires in Magness Arena, and it really won’t get much bigger than tonight with raising the banner and #1 vs. #2.
My family loved our first cricket match, and I’ve become a fan of the sport since. There was such great action and atmosphere for the @SaintLuciaKings. We were on the broadcast twice with our cheering. I watched the rest of the @CPL season. I hope the sport will grow in America.
Dos and I completed our first Training level horse trials together at Old Tavern in Virginia, and you can tell from this great reel that Ashley made for Super G how much fun we had with the bigger jumps and more technical combinations, plus our synchronized bow after dressage.
Competing at the AHA Sport Horse Nationals has been a bucket-list event, and Dos and I had a fantastic first time at WEC. We were champions in the meter jumpers and reserve champions in the 3-foot hunters and got to celebrate by taking a jump with our ribbons and roses.
SPOTLIGHT: Johnny Hicks
Johnny set the @NCAAIceHockey record last season with a .957 save% while his 1.19 GAA also led the nation & was tied for the 2nd-best all-time by a college goalie. He became the first keeper in DU history to go unbeaten in his first 17 career decisions.
So many amazing Dolly Parton clips popping up on my timeline, and I particularly like the covers and collaborations. This one is my favorite. What a legend and beautiful soul. RIP

Can you tell what is special about the design?
I’m traveling quite a bit around the country for announcing, and I’m making the most of when I get to return to the farm in Virginia.
Today was full of Arabian horses for me. It started with my return to covering #RaceBredArabians for @theajclub with images on the left. On the right, I rode AA Two Face in a lesson with Kaitlin Clasing, and we competed in a jumper show at Red Gate Farm where he’s got a fan club.
With temps in the 90s in Virginia, we’re hosing the horses off during the day. Uno seems to appreciate the cold water and playing in the shower, particularly the mist setting.
I’m enjoying announcing horse shows for eventing and dressage at The Horse Park at Woodside. Sharing some clips from the Modified Match at the Woodside Spring H.T. that puts the spotlight on up-and-coming horses and riders moving from the lower to the upper levels of eventing.
Dos acts like every horse show he does is the Olympics, and that attitude was probably reinforced during our last day at the AHA Region 15 & 16 Championships on the 4th of July. There was also a balloon festival, and fireworks started right as we halted in our last dressage test.
