Great to be allowed to pay more when you use your loyalty card. What’s the next loyalty tier? Getting punched in the mouth when you walk in the front door?

Says the producers of a show funded by the TV license fee.
A couple from Worcestershire have discovered a rare tree in their garden has started producing seeds worth £10 each: a literal magic money tree. Great timing for some interested parties

Hello @British_Airways Yet again your app tells me the correct time of my departure today. It’s notification does not, Please don’t ask me for my IP address or other such things to fob me off. Your app has a bug. Just tell your dev team.

Lots of good stuff in here that I hadn't realised about QLD. Well worth a read for my Aussie mates.
Between 1915 and 1924, the Queensland Labor Party set about building socialism in Australia’s Sunshine State. It was and remains one of the most ambitious reforming programs in Labor’s history. jacobin.com/2025/07/queensla…

Hi @British_Airways my flight is at 17:05 not 16:05. It does not engender confidence when your software folks can’t figure out presenting GMT vs BST to the user. Who even tests this stuff? Your app is terrible and your back end abysmal. You have to do better.

The problem with privatisation is that you eventually run out of endowments from the past.
HEATHROW BLACKOUT: @neso_energy report is out. It's very, very damming: indicative of the UK's decrepit infrastructure. National Grid knew since 2018 there was a problem with the transformer; it did nothing. Plus, the fire suppression system was out of service since 2022.

This is a consequence of baseload thinking. We need a reliable grid which is not the same as reliable baseload.
When the wind doesn’t blow…or in fact when the grid can’t cope on.ft.com/3ZqVHSZ wind turbines switched off 13% of the time because of poor infrastructure but we still pay for the power they don’t generate

Hey @AmazonUK your delivery partner are not being honest. There were 3 of us home and all our Ring cameras were working fine when DPD somehow "missed us"
