So Orange/Protestant people in Scotland fear independence because Scotland will become a country run by IRA loving Papes. Labour voting Catholics fear Indy because it will become a country run by Catholic hating Nats. It’s never discussed but obviously a tool used by Unionists.

Accents: Glaswegian (Scottish)
In this video from bygone Britain, a few lads discuss the tribal and rough reality of growing up in Glasgow.
The Glaswegian accent is a distinct hybrid of West-Central Scots, Scottish English, and heavy 19th/20th-century immigrant influences (particularly from Ireland and the Scottish Highlands). I for one find the Scottish accent very comforting (whichever region it's from).

So little paid after so much ruining of the life of a man who gave us so much joy. This is so awful.
When Paul Gascoigne started seeing private conversations and details of his life appearing in the newspapers, he became convinced somebody close to him was selling stories about him.
The problem was that some of the things being printed had only been discussed on the phone with people he trusted.
Gascoigne knew something was wrong.
But nobody believed him.
“I knew my phone was getting hacked. I knew 110%.”
The more Gascoigne tried to explain what he thought was happening, the more paranoid he appeared.
Even his therapist told him that was what it was.
Gascoigne was adamant.
“There’s f*** all wrong with me. I know I’m getting hacked.”
He remembered having six phones at once and still using the public phone box outside because he no longer trusted any of them.
He even flew to Spain simply to buy another phone in the hope nobody would know the number.
Stories continued appearing.
Gascoigne started looking at the people closest to him.
“The only people I spoke to were my mum and dad, and it kept coming out in the newspapers.”
So he decided it must be them.
“I was thinking, ‘Mum and dad, what the f*** are you doing?’”
“Why are you speaking to the papers?”
He stopped speaking to them.
At different points he also suspected friends and other members of his family, because he could not understand how journalists seemed to know conversations that had taken place in private.
Gascoigne later said the fallout with his parents lasted for months.
“That destroyed us.”
He spent tens of thousands of pounds in surveillance shops buying equipment designed to find hidden cameras and listening devices.
When he went into treatment, he struggled to speak openly in group sessions because he feared other patients might be passing information to journalists.
For two years, he stopped speaking to some members of his own family because he believed they were betraying him.
Gascoigne said Saturday nights became particularly bad because he would sit wondering what might appear in the Sunday papers.
“I couldn’t wait for that to end.”
For years, Gascoigne had been told that what he believed was happening to his phone was part of his paranoia.
Eventually, the truth started coming out.
Mirror Group Newspapers later admitted that 18 articles about Gascoigne had resulted from illegal activity, and the High Court heard that his phone had been targeted over a period stretching from 2000 to 2010.
In 2015, Gascoigne finally went to court.
He had waited years for the chance to sit opposite the people he believed had helped turn his life into something he could no longer trust.
He told the court that he had been too frightened to speak freely to his parents, his children or almost anyone else.
“It was just horrendous.”
Then the lawyers representing Mirror Group Newspapers announced that they were not going to cross-examine him.
Gascoigne could barely believe it.
“I’ve waited 15 years to be sat here.”
“I’m disgusted really. Fifteen years.”
Gascoigne had spent years changing phones, buying surveillance equipment, accusing his own family and being told that what he believed was happening was in his head.
Before leaving the witness box, he asked to say one final thing.
“I’d like to trade my mobile in for a coffin because these guys have ruined my life.”
Two months later, the judgment came.
The court ruled that phone hacking at the Mirror titles had been “widespread and frequent” and awarded Gascoigne £188,250 in damages.
For years, people around him had treated his fears as paranoia.
But the court found that Mirror Group Newspapers had been hacking his phone.
Gascoigne had been right about it all along.

Absolutely wrong. I called this out with Tories on GB News. Ayesha was given a Labour peerage & takes the Labour whip. She should not be interviewing Labour colleagues - especially when the party is in government. (Can you imagine @SkyNews allowing this if it was @theSNP ?)
This is the video from the tent where Trump was watching the livestream attack on our Capitol J6.
Many have denied that this tent exists of that Trump was watching the event on TV.

Can anyone remember the last time @BBCNews interviewed a Palestinian about their experience of the racism of Zionism? Having spent the last two weeks interviewing elderly Nakba survivors in Jordan, driven off their land in their teens because of their ethnicity and religion, I'd be happy to suggest some astonishingly articulate victims of Israeli racism who would be only too happy to tell their tragic stories of eviction, slaughter and dispossession. It is like reporting on the Civil Rights movement in the US and only interviewing outraged Whites

Gordon Strachan says Tommy Gravesen once nearly sent a referee over the edge during a Champions League night when he was at Celtic.
Celtic were 1–0 up against Benfica at half-time when the fourth official came across: “Mr Strachan, could you go and see the referee?”
Strachan expected a red card, a moan about the bench, something serious. Instead the referee told him: “Mr Strachan, I’m not enjoying the game.”
Strachan's answer was pure Strachan: “We’ve all had s*** games pal, don’t worry about it, you will get better.”
The referee said that wasn't the problem: “Mr Gravesen keeps talking to me. I cannot concentrate… I’m making bad decisions because he keeps speaking to me.”
And it wasn't even abuse. Gravesen was jogging alongside him trying to sort him a night out: “Are you staying here tonight lad? Is your family here? If you want to go out tonight, I’ll take you to places.”
Strachan says they assumed the ref was making it up, until they watched the game back the next day and there was Gravesen, pointing and chatting away, with the referee eventually trying to push him off.
Offering the ref a tour of the town mid-match is a new one.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on Lebanon:
Look at what is happening in Lebanon.
Today, more than 60 villages in southern Lebanon, beginning with those adjacent to the border, and beyond that, throughout the entire security zone up to the Yellow Line, an area of 700 square kilometers, are destroyed.
All the villages have been wiped out. Twenty-three thousand houses, all destroyed, demolished.
I am not even talking about what is underground, about the tunnels. Everything has been destroyed.
There are no residents there. Two hundred thousand residents are outside.
This is the Gaza model. And this is the model we are implementing.
