The profile Amazon has built about me isn’t very interesting. It says I like dogs, running, and I buy children’s uniform clothing. Several mentions about buying dog items and having a dog. I guess I buy dog stuff more than kid stuff? pcworld.com/article/3255207/…

I wish my doctor hadn’t moved to a concierge practice. My arms have been covered in a rash for days and I have had bad luck with urgent care and insurance not playing nicely. So I just take Benadryl and hope it stops. This is healthcare. 🙁

It’s raining… it’s pouring… I haven’t seen this much rain in a loooooooooooong time. #vegaswx

Apple Health gave me an alert for “cycle deviation”. And then it asked me if I was pregnant, lactating, or starting birth control from March to now. Nope, I’m just a woman in her late 40’s. Think it through, you’ve got “Apple Intelligence” - you’ll get there. #perimenopause

Me: looking at sleep earbuds because I can’t sleep anymore. Website: Don’t use if you need to hear a baby. Me: Well, I have a 14yo, so I guess I can’t use these to drown out the world. So if I die from sleep deprivation, it’s because I have a teenager and I’m perimenopausal.

Can finally say I’ve been to @SphereVegas , we saw #WOZatSphere and it was super cool. The kiddo and I watched The Wizard of Oz last night to prepare, I like the faster paced editing and effects at Sphere. Worth the experience at least once. Wish I had seen No Doubt there.

My spouse has a habit of asking me a question, then immediately slamming a door/cabinet/pot so he can’t hear my response. I feel so heard… 😉

A website quiz asked me to select my age group… I’m 48, so I guess I’m this old lady image.

The new #iphoneduo looks really cool, but I also think it would work against my goal of being on my phone less often.

K-12 websites are horrible. I can’t say “the worst” because their email communications are awful too. Why do they only seem to provide about 60% of the information needed. They suffer from being too close to the subject matter. I get they’re probably doing their best.

I truly hope that in a year or so, people will not waste AI power making unsettling images of famous people welcoming famous people to heaven when they pass. It’s so odd.

Sigh… well, it’s time for college football season to ruin the next several months as we have to reschedule our lives for my spouse to yell at games.

How would you illustrate “essential body fat” or “osteoporosis”? Sometimes I think teachers are trolling students. My 14yo’s health assignment is defining several term, then illustrating them. Illustrate “cardiac output”. LOL

I don’t think I was cut out to be a mother. This is the most anxiety-riddled job I’ve ever done. The fact that my kiddo is starting high school this week is killing me. Heart palpitations, digestive distress, sleeplessness. I wasn’t this distressed about starting HS myself.

I seem to be seeing more ads online where they say “oops, we made too much!” I don’t trust this tactic and will now be less inclined to learn more about the product.

AI is so smart... I can use it to help me proofread things I've written, so it becomes a "slam-dung" reference.

My 30-year high school reunion was tonight. I didn’t go, but seeing all of the updates from people in the facebook group for it made me a little nostalgic. Also, I’m not this old.
