The Director, Special Duties and State Operations, National Orientation Agency (NOA), David Akoji, says uncontrolled digital algorithms pose serious challenges to society, affecting critical thinking, memory, cultural values and the ability of individuals to make independent decisions.
He made the disclosure on the NTA Network Programme Good Morning Nigeria, with the topic, “Algorithms as the New Opium for the Youths.”
