Real estate agents, what is a "true knock-knock opportunity" in your lingo?
Does that mean the existing structure can be demolished? Other wording seems to imply that it might not be allowed.
Heard this story. The host said it cost $900K to move and restore this house, but that was less than it would cost to build a new house in LA. Can that possibly be correct? Apparently not including land.

Does anyone have a connection to Randall Munroe (@xkcd) or any way to reach his company? I’m writing a book and wanted to license some of his cartoons but can’t get a response from his licensing or press email addresses.
What am I missing? Helium isn't mentioned by name. @amirhaleem
TIL that @helium was used as an example of why the iRobot/Amazon acquisition would be a bad thing 🤯

What's the motivation to do this now? Is 3% of SFH a problem now or heading off a future problem?
Also, why only SFH vs. apartments? Seems to be to protect owners and small landlords. What about renters? Any data if they prefer small vs. large landlords?

Big drama in one (or two now?) of the many Zcash support orgs. None of it involves me or Shielded Labs, and it's not my place to opine on it, except I want you to tell you two things: ⤵️
Over the past few weeks, it's become clear that the majority of Bootstrap board members (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to support Zcash by governing the Electric Coin Company), specifically Zaki Manian, Christina Garman, Alan Fairless, and Michelle Lai (ZCAM), have moved into clear misalignment with the mission of Zcash.
Yesterday, the entire ECC team left after being constructively discharged* by ZCAM. In short, the terms of our employment were changed in ways that made it impossible for us to perform our duties effectively and with integrity.
We're founding a new company, but we're still the same team with the same mission: building unstoppable private money.
Importantly, the Zcash protocol is unaffected. This decision is simply about protecting our team’s work from malicious governance actions that have made it impossible to honor ECC's original mission.
We'll have more soon. Hang tight.
Onward.

I've been out of the loop. What recap should I read about the drama?

Looks like @CoveredCA is being crushed under the weight of applications and exemptions. Not able to check the status of paperwork. :-(
So occasionally, I try AI Mode in Google Search. @GoogleAI
And sometimes it is even useful, but has its quirks, reasoning shortfalls, and times it avoids answering.
But one odd thing, is that sometimes images are inserted into the answer.
Often, these don't really fit the discourse. I suspect that @googleai is not inserting these, but some other system.
If I ask AI Mode why the images are there, it says, "No images were shown. As a text-based AI, displaying images directly is not possible."
Not a good experience.
So @AmazonAlexa says there is a tsunami watch in Golden Gate Heights, San Francisco. @NWSBayArea
It will rise 15 stories and projected to cost $4.3 billion.
