1. Putin's approval rating, which has been running more than 80% since the invasion of Ukraine, fell by 6% to 77% in a Sept survey. It is not certain whether the survey was conducted after or before the partial mobilization order (Sept 21).
5. The invasion of Ukraine raised the approval rating from 71% (2022.2) to 83% (2022.3). Now that about 6% is gone, a simple calculation suggests that 6% of the people who didn't originally support Putin but supported Putin in the war are still supporting Putin.
