As someone downstream from the tar sands, I assure you there’s no such thing as ethical oil.The tailings dams have been leaking into the Athabasca river & poisoning our people & the land for decades. The industrial emissions also create an oil spill each Spring when the snow melts

Nate Horner wants us to believe AIMCo’s board richly deserved to be summarily fired. A glance at board members’ resumes suggests this is unlikely to be the case – so what’s really going on? albertapolitics.ca/2024/11/n… #ableg #abpoli @aimcoinvests

Ms. @ABDanielleSmith - give teachers their pensions back.
The @Alberta_UCP clearly lied about the benefits of having our pensions controlled by AIMCo, and that AIMCo was not to be controlled by government.
Another UCP failure to add to the long, long list of failures.

This is now the SECOND complete change of management in AIMCo under the UCP, the first after losing billions in wildly stupid risky investments.
But they told us teacher pensions were safer with them after they stole them, and they want them to run our CPP.

Next time they repeal the coal policy they are making sure they won't have to tell anyone a goddamn thing about it.

No, they’re not conservatives. Conservatives do not blow $80 million on fake Tylenol, waste money on frivolous lawsuits just to prove their relevance, deny science, or accuse US of “chemtrails”Conservatives don’t buy private schools and don’t interfere with banking.

They are conservative. We are used to the progressive kind not the regressive kind.
PARENTS WILL HAVE TO OPT-IN FOR SCIENCE 9?!?! May talk to more than just your inner circle of culture-war generals before you table laws maybe?!
Preserving children’s rights in schools is just as important as it is in all other areas of their lives.
That’s why our government is tabling the Education Amendment Act as one of the 3 pieces of legislation to preserve the rights of all children and youth in our province. If passed, the act would require:
👉Students 15 and under who want to be addressed by a new gender related name or pronoun to notify their parents and require their consent.
👉Students 16 & 17 may be allowed to do so without parental consent but parents still need to be notified.
👉Parents to be notified each time subject matter in the classroom deals primarily and explicitly with gender identity, sexual orientation or human sexuality.
👉Parental opt-in required for attendance of lessons about gender identity, sexual orientation or human sexuality.
