Job coaches sent to mental health wards is clearly obscene but it’s the natural end point of an agenda that equates health with productivity. If you believe humans are only valuable when they earn a wage, the NHS is a tool - not to help patients - but to get them back to work.
ALT Job coaches could visit seriously ill patients on mental health wards to try to get them back to work, the government has said. Trials of employment advisers giving CV and interview advice in hospitals produced "dramatic results", Work and Pensions Secretary Liz Kendall told the BBC.

There's an easier line of criticism here imo: irrespective of whether we can meaningfully define a "Science" existing in ideal apolitical form separate from context, EDUCATION is political. A whole host of politics and value judgements go into deciding what to teach and how.
