Is anyone else getting this constantly on @omarchy? Gnome keyring daemon. My AI says it is upstream, and not much i can do about it, besides reports I've already submitted?

Seeing my daughter’s emails and messages on my picture frame is awesome.

one AI coding agent builds the feature, and a different one reviews it and pushes the fixes. On today's P-Day Emails release, Claude Code wrote it and Codex caught things in follow-up. Two agents with different blind spots beat one agent checking its own work.

If you want to read Jack Reacher without all the junk, this is it-
I am sure your reading list is already very long, but if you’d like to add a suspense novel to the mix, I’d humbly submit my “Out by Night”. You can get it from my publisher @nauvoosupply or it’s available on Audible and you can get the ebook from Deseret Book

In July we open-sourced a dynamic graph of everything a child learns in primary school. 1,590 concepts, 3,221 dependencies. Now we’re turning every concept into interactive experiments kids can play and learn from. First one, age 7: heat and water. Everything that used to be a boring textbook can now be an engaging experience, potentially tailored to every child. Kids education just got a massive upgrade.

one of my favorite ways to use AI is to have it do tedious, annoying things like making substack look how I want it.

My man @jethrojones on what AI is actually for: "all of our work as humans should point towards human flourishing." Teacher, principal and AI coach from Spokane. Shipped omamigrate and OmaPresent on Omarchy. Full story is up on omarchy builders. What should AI be for, in your work? omarchy.builders/builders/je…

I've watched this a bunch and I still can't believe it is real. It just seems impossible.
Turns out the future does have flying cars

Been debugging this picture frame all day! I think there's a bug in the software itself. I might be helping them.

What I love about social media is meeting people that are awesome that I would never have met otherwise. Thanks @NixFred for the great conversation!
Builder #10 on omarchy.builders is @jethrojones and he is a rock star. You are an amazing person Jethro! He had run linux before, then spent 20 years on the Mac. Then he put Omarchy on a 2014 Mac mini because "what have I got to lose." His words: "I can go back to fully customizing my machine exactly how I want it to be." Now look at him. He shipped omamigrate: move your whole Omarchy to a new machine in 1 bundle. Configs, themes, shell, agents. Done. He shipped OmaPresent, because his slide app kept shrinking his words. Open any Markdown file and it is already a deck. He shipped a tile manager plugin and his own Omarchy 4 theme. He runs the Beast: a headless local AI box with 2 GPUs, set up by a frontier model, driven over SSH. "I used my Frontier model to tell my computer how to set it up so that it would work." Years before agents, he was a principal who wired OCR and a Hazel rule to email every kid's daily tracker to the parent waiting in the car. "I've always been looking at ways to get rid of the friction." Today his Omarchy agents run admin for a driving school so "probably the best guy in the whole state to teach kids how to drive" can just teach. His podcast has not missed a week since 2013. And the line that made this whole site make sense to me: "all of our work as humans should point towards human flourishing" Teacher. Builder. Friend of every kid the system missed. Jethro, thank you. 10 builders. 7 countries. And the site keeps growing. Read his full story: omarchy.builders/builders/je…
