I'd rather become so good they can't ignore me... Not network so hard I finally meet them. Own the club > waiting in line.

Passion is overrated. Pick something you find interesting and then obsess over it until you're so good that people can't ignore you. Passion follows competence, not the other way around.

Founders: Stop overbuilding your MVP. It's normal to want to make everything perfect & add fancy features. Think of MVPs like street food: Created and served quickly, and a little messy. But that's all you need to get started.

As you gain leverage and skills, your opportunity cost goes up, and you should naturally let some other opportunities fall. This is a sign of growth, not failure.

Wish instead of giving us essays to write in school they gave us the essays and we had to turn them into a paragraph. Seems much more useful than filling pages with fluff.

If you scare people enough, they will demand removal of freedom. This is the path to tyranny.

Funny how being an entrepreneur is "too risky"... but being an employee with just 1 source of income is society's standard for financial security 🤔

If you do anything for too long -- whatever that may mean for you -- it becomes a yoke and a burden, especially when you are trying to do it at a world-class level. Same in biz, athletics, art, etc. Leave before you get bitter and tired. Apply the same passion to something new.

A thread on how real estate investors, developers and operators can make millions a year and pay almost nothing in TAXES by using depreciation, bonus depreciation, and 1031 exchanges. A thread on how it works:

Everything you do someone will be willing to do for cheaper. So make sure you’re the best at it. That’s the moat.

You haven't REALLY tried something until you've put in the work. Just like paper requires 451 degrees to burn, success requires hundreds of attempts and thousands of hours.

Americans should be stocking up on nonperishable consumer goods. Foods, cleansers, toiletries, medicines, batteries, etc. as all prices will be at least 10%-20% higher next year. Since there's no chance prices will be lower, it's a no-brainer that will likely beat the S&P 500.

We seem to be getting closer and closer to a situation where nobody is responsible for what they did but we are all responsible for what somebody else did.
