💬 “And the goal? Testify against any politician, and my situation gets resolved.”
Veronika Varga-Bajusz, a former conservative government official and mother of three, has sent a message from prison. Her husband, Norbert Varga, shared her letter publicly.
She remains in pre-trial detention, although she has not been convicted of any crime. She was brought to court in handcuffs, on a restraint leash, escorted by armed officers.
The case concerns Hungary’s National Cultural Fund (NKA), a state fund that provides public money to support artists, cultural projects and institutions.
Authorities are investigating alleged misuse of these grants. Veronika is suspected of “psychological aiding and abetting” — meaning allegedly encouraging or supporting someone else’s wrongdoing.
Yet Veronika says she reviewed roughly 2,000 pages of evidence and found no witness testimony connecting her to the disputed grants.
Her most disturbing claim is that her situation could be resolved if she testified against a politician.
She also describes the heartbreak of being separated from her three children:

Slovakia is a Slavic EU and NATO state. Serbia is a Slavic country in the Balkans that does not recognize Kosovo’s independence. In Belgrade, Prime Minister Robert Fico said Slovakia will continue to respect the territorial integrity of Serbia. On Kosovo and Metohija he said we will never let you down. He said Aleksandar and Serbia will always have a sincere friend in Slovakia, one who will not be influenced by pressure.
The remarks are on the video, with Serbian banners and a crowd behind him.
Who is the pressure for — a Slavic government that still stands with Serbia, or the line that says every EU state must recognize Kosovo?

In a video posted on 11 October, Robert Fico sat at a desk and addressed the diesel agreement announced the day before between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. He said the two presidents “don’t give a damn about the rest of the world” and simply protect their own national interests: cheaper diesel for the American market and revenue for the Russian budget. The US Treasury issued a temporary license allowing Russian diesel onto the market until April 2027. Russia is to release 300,000 tonnes immediately, more later.
Fico then turned to the European Union. “And we in the Union ban, sanction, embargo, moralize — and we pay for diesel as if we were hired and shake with fear whether there will be enough.” He warned that EU drivers will soon be filling up at European pumps with expensive American-labelled diesel of Russian origin. “This can only happen in a Union obsessed with hatred and unable to understand the realities of the world.”
Slovakia is the Slavic EU and NATO state that still receives Russian oil via the Druzhba pipeline under exemptions. Fico has repeatedly argued that Brussels’ sanctions hurt European consumers more than Russia. The frames show him speaking directly to camera; the claim is his.
Who is being naive — the Slovak prime minister who says the US and Russia are simply doing what every government does, or the EU leaders who cut Russian fuel and may end up buying the same molecules back through American middlemen?

California residents shows the City of Los Angeles added $200 in taxes onto his electricity bill
The state of California does not tax electricity usage and even through new taxes are supposed to be voted on be residents, Democrats forced through a tax on electricity without a single vote
“On my bill alone, that's almost $200 just in city tax for trying to survive the freaking heat. And here's the wildest part: we never voted on this.
In California, new local taxes have to be approved by voters, but City Hall passed this tax back in 1971, over 50 years ago. Because it was grandfathered in, they've just been quietly letting a 10% tax right on top of skyrocketing electric rates year after year”
I went back and looked at who was in office when the Los Angeles City Council forced through this new tax. It was a Democrat majority city council….
It was passed by the City Council, not by a voter referendum.

More Hungarians voted against gender propaganda than have ever voted for any single political party in Hungary - or even for EU accession.
Yet the Tisza Party is disregarding this democratic mandate because Brussels demanded it.

🚨🇭🇺🏳️🌈 Hungary's new government is moving to ALLOW LGBTQ advocacy in schools, reversing protections introduced under Orbán.
And it's doing so despite MILLIONS of Hungarians voting against similar changes.
PM Magyar's government is seeking to repeal a provision banning the promotion of homosexuality and gender reassignment to minors, arguing that the changes are necessary to comply with EU law.
The reforms also include changes to public access to Hungary's sex-offender registry.
In a 2022 referendum, roughly 3.6-3.7 million Hungarians voted NO on each of four questions involving LGBTQ-related education and content for minors, although turnout was too low for the referendum to be legally valid.
The move is reigniting a fierce debate over parental rights and Brussels' influence on Hungarian schools.
