EYF STORYTIME CUZ WE SPENT 3 YEARS ON IT
After writing and bouncing ideas on zoom calls over the course of a year and a half, we got into the studio for a 15 hour day of tracking. For reasons that would take a novel to explain, the engineer never sent most of the recordings 🧍🏾♂️

EAT YOUR FRIENDS!! This project has been such a labor of love. This is easily the most collaborative project I've ever had the pleasure of tackling, which is made even better by the amazing people I got to do it with. If you know me, you know that I've loved @pinkshiftmd from the very start, and getting to create this song with my dear friends was so fulfilling. We all worked so hard on it and I think something unique and special came out of that effort. We wrote this song about competition and jealousy. It's us cementing our values against a machine that seeks to pit us against each other. We hope you feel that when you hear this song. I hope it brings you closer to someone the way it's brought us closer.
(BTW you should come mosh to it in New Jersey with us on January 26th for the final EYF Tour Date 🤭)

It's kinda funny bc when we started writing this song, we didn't rlly talk about the music industry. We were just trying to put words to how degrading it is to be in competition w your community.
Over time we just kept seeing it in our world realized we're living this song
LISTEN: It's a tough pill to swallow, but the music industry can suck sometimes. Lucky for us, @JhariahClare and @pinkshiftmd are speaking out and telling their truth on their latest single, "Eat Your Friends." Check it out! ido.bi/28js

Everyone knows I've been burned by the biz many times. I'm a walking, talking bounce-backer bc I refuse to let it destroy who I am.
If you relate in any capacity, this new @JhariahClare @pinkshiftmd song out today is your damn anthem!
