Matt Rhule can recruit.. talent is not a problem with @HuskerFootball.. they are a player $ wise in portal world… it’s the intangibles now.. poor game management.. lack of discipline.. preventable errors.. the intangibles are beating Nebraska in close games.. that falls on HC
I started following the Huskers closely in 1983… I have watched nearly every game… tonight might be the worst loss of them all and there has been a lot of rip your guts out losses so that is a bold statement.
Once he missed a couple of games the national FCS media just forgot about him on all their mid season All American lists and reporting.. but Adam Jones of Montana State is an absolute dude.. he is on the very short list for best RBs in the FCS..
I can appreciate Brewers fans and their euphoria. If the Reds ever get back in my lifetime that would be incredible..

Not going to comment on the timeout aspect, but it seems the officials reset the clock to :01. They are not supposed to do so.
Replay rules only allow the clock to be reset when the clock starts on the ready for play and there are 3 or more seconds remaining and the offense has no timeouts. The reason is that the rules makers believe it is impossible for them to snap the ball from :02 or :01 before the clock hits :00 if the ready for play is correctly given and the clock starts accordingly.
Onfield officials are instructed not to reset here and let it go to replay. Replay would have allowed the game to end at that point.
Montana State is well coached with good proven veteran leaders.. bye week to get the arsenal back and reboot.. good depth was identified.. graves are only occupied in the playoffs not Oct 2.. I expect the tide to turn back.. long way to go.
