Embarrassing officiating the whole match. Embarrassing for this tournament not to have VAR. That moment doesn’t matter at the end of the day because Gotham didn’t play well, but the officiating HAS to be better with or without VAR.

That is explicitly not a pen. Got the ball and contact outside of penalty area. No VAR. For a tournament that wants to be taken seriously, this is embarrassing.

Getting that call so obviously wrong just lends itself to how bad the ref crews decision making was all 90. Refs need to be held accountable and they rarely are. We didn’t deseve to win the match with that play. I’m just so tired of poor officiating.
