It’s too bad you don’t have the maturity to realize this has gotten worse under your regime thanks to your singling out of Israel as the biggest problem in the world. Do better.
I am horrified by the assault at Central Synagogue during services today. I can only imagine the pain and fear an attack like this, during Shabbat services, causes for the congregation and for Jewish New Yorkers across our city. Every New Yorker must be able to observe their religion without fear of violence. This despicable act has no place in our city, and our administration will do everything in our power to keep Jewish New Yorkers safe. The alleged perpetrator is in custody and there is no known ongoing threat in or around the synagogue. We are in close contact with the NYPD and will share more information as it becomes available.

US economy lost 23,000 jobs in July. Wall Street expected a GAIN of 83,000. That's ugly. But the real number to stare at is labor force participation, which just hit a five-year low.

Unemployment rate technically fell to 4.1% and that WILL be the headline. But it fell because fewer people are being counted, not because more people are working. The denominator shrank. That's it.

Everyone's building their Q4 narrative right now. And we've apparently been misreading the last three months of jobs data. Might want to revisit some assumptions. What are you seeing in your industry?

The open internet is so flooded with AI generated noise that the most valuable conversations have migrated to places you can't Google. Group chats, paid Discords, private newsletters. We're watching the web go indoors in real time.

So well said. Mitch fan forever
From the moment you put on a Knicks jersey, you gave the city everything you had 👏

Did Jalen Brunson punch Adam Silver’s grandma or something? That’s gonna be the only explanation for this. #nbafinals

Jeremy Goldman retweeted
This is the textbook definition of a landing spot flagrant. Brunson was called for a less egregious one earlier in the season. Wembanyama avoids it. If he had been called for one, he would have incurred an automatic suspension for Game 6 (if necessary).
Brunson landing on Wemby’s foot and injuring his left ankle. No landing space foul called, which could’ve been Wemby’s 4th flagrant foul penalty point and would’ve triggered a suspension for a potential Game 6.

Wemby has now gotten away with two flagrant fouls against a guy a foot and a half smaller. Disgusting. #nbafinals

Not saying as a Knicks fan, but as a fan of basketball: This is utter BS. If people are willing to travel hundreds of miles for a game, let them. Spurs won in MSG with few of their fans in the building. Just play the game and don't complain.

If/when the @nyknicks win, I think in honor of #1 fan @BenStiller I'll have to rewatch Mystery Men. Released in 1999, features the underrated song "Back in 1999," and obviously the year Spurs beat Knicks in finals last. Will be a nice bookend to 27 years of waiting.

I think it would've been a few lifetimes, bro...
Josh Hart: “I got a special shoutout for OG because he saved me, at least for this game, a lifetime of regret.”

Was talking to my coworkers about how Twitter/X is doing and if I should bring my account back. How vibrant would you say the conversation is on here these days?
