If you have docs other than the code (e.g. a wiki, ADRs, logs, bug databases), I strongly recommend tracking how many times they’re actually read. If that number is 0, delete it & change your process so you stop creating it. Time spent writing something nobody reads is waste.
Hot take: Risk Legacy was the only true Legacy #boardgame. Everything since has been campaign games with stickers.

I think it was @LPeterschmidt who, at some point, said that a designer should never write their own rules. After spending the last year answering rules questions on BGG and reading reviews bashing the WoW rulebook, I'm seeing just how right he is on that point.
