Need new attackers on coach. I know that’s odd to say while holding a 1 goal lead but we’re now toothless

This god forsaken site has plunked 4000 of these into my feed today. X either thinks I agree with men like this, or wants me to be enraged and argue with them. Think it’s time for another 6 month timeout

I will wait to see the “why” regarding the woman driving into the youth match in Wichita. I see a lot of speculation that fits what I fear has been coming for some time. It’s increasingly nuts out there. Nothing would shock me anymore

Me “well no Europe and a new staff, least we won’t be riddled with injuries” - every single Spurs player misses multiple matches before November starts
De Zerbi on Spurs team news: "No Savio, unfortunately Savio on Tuesday before leaving for Marbella felt a muscular problem and we have lost him for some weeks. And Lucas Bergvall he had a problem in Manchester early on in the first chance he created for Dominic Solanke. (contd)

Barcola cost a fortune and looked incredible at PSG But so far in this one there are 4 wingers on the pitch and he’s the 4th scariest one

Just realized that if we had prime Lucas Moura at the 9 we’d score 2-3 goals a match. 😂

I hated the initial lineup but to be fair to him it worked specifically bc of United’s weaknesses. He was right there He got it horribly wrong on the subs and waited too long to change it. Was obvious 5 min into the 2nd we needed changed before 60’
Looking v closely to see what RDZ does substitution wise now. He needs to be proactive #COYS

😂 Sensesi hilariously slow. Lucky we controlled so much of the match. He got so exposed there

That’s what we get for putting Bentancur on instead of Fernandes.

Spurs been great. Still think he will need subs early. Energy got low around 33 min. Probably lasts 10-15 this half Solanke - Marmoush Some CM - Fernandes Don’t think Kudus can go beyond 70 either

“She’s sure he’s a D1 player and doesn’t understand why others don’t see it” Such a common theme among all youth/hs sports. And you simply can’t, even with evidence and a 1000 educated voices, convince them otherwise
A mom called me last night, and I could hear the hurt in her voice. Her 2027 son has done EVERYTHING. Years of travel ball. More showcases than she can count. Email after email to coaches. Nothing. No offers. She's sure he's a D1 player and can't understand why no one sees it. I told her what I'd want someone to tell me: at 5'8", 155 lbs, he's not what D1 coaches are recruiting, and he may need to open his eyes to D3, NAIA and JUCO. She disagreed and told me I know nothing. I understand. No parent wants to hear it. But "D1 or nothing" too often ends with nothing.

If you aren’t emotionally mature enough to coach a kid hard without cussing I’m not sure why we trust you to coach kids 🤷. You can make your point without it. You look like a moron when you can’t control yourself.
There is ZERO reason to cuss at high school athletes. Why has this been normalized? If you were to cuss at a KID in a classroom, you’d be (or should be) fired. What makes the sporting context okay? And God forbid a kid cuss at a coach. The double standard is disgraceful.

One of the few times I’ll agree that he’s being taken out of context bc he rambles a bit incoherently The part that should be highlighted is the crowd who get a bit too excited at the prospect of those 2 American cities being wiped out. That was disturbing
OMG. Every leftist is going to go nuts with this and it’s because he isn’t speaking clearly. He starts by saying higher prices (presumably gas) are small price to pay for keeping the world safe. Then he pivots to saying (and the phrasing is terrible) “They can take out a city. Let ’em take— let ’em take out Los Angeles. Let ’em take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay, and it’s going to be over very soon.” HE’S NOT SAYING THAT LETTING IRAN TAKE OUT LA OR SAN DIEGO IS A SMALL PRICE TO PAY. He’s saying “(if we) let them do that you’ll see why higher prices are a small price to pay to win (so they can’t do something like that.)” It’s a ramble, but it’s clearly what he means. He’s not advocating for the destruction of American cities, even in California. FFS. Even Grok is arguing with me about this, but you have to speak Trump. I’m 💯 right, and it’s not even up for debate.

They need us scrolling 12-15 hours a day. AI will free us up to do that
Nobody actually needs a personal AI assistant. The average screen time in the US is 7 hours/day. people have plenty of time. There's no evidence that freeing up more will lead to anything but more tiktok scrolling If anything daily life needs more offline friction

Sometimes I think the wealthy actually want a modern day Storming of the Bastille here. Bc their comments are so absurd that it can be the only explanation
Kevin Hassett: "The higher mortgage rates are actually a good sign for the economy because corporations are borrowing money to build things like data centers instead of lending to homeowners."

This is basically every pro sport out there And once head coaches started making 10x the university presidents we had pretty much professionalized college sports. The lagging piece was player payments
"I'm gonna say this, I probably shouldn't: nine of my players make more than my assistants. And the other three make more than all my staff, and we are not one of the highest payers..." John Calipari continuing his support for Protect College Sports Act while dishing out some interesting facts on his roster. #WPS Full 35-minute presser: nwahomepage.com/sports/watch…

The right coach generates a ton. The wrong ones cost you $50 million golden parachutes. And the system means anyone with 5 min of success gets one of those. But let’s limit the pay of the next Tebow/Cam Newton and protect the buyouts of the next Harsin/Brian Kelly
This morning on ESPN's First Take, Nick Saban argued player and coach pay are "totally different markets." "That's like asking me 'Does a student's scholarship equal the professor's pay?' I mean, how much value does a coach create for a university?" 📺 💰️

A healthy society would lay down partisanship to all make fun of the clown who thought he was a genius But we are not so healthy
🤡 Eric Schmitt beclowns himself during Jack Smith hearing 🤡 Schmitt concocted an elaborate conspiracy theory that Smith traveled to Atlanta to go to a Hawks game and collude with Fani Willis, and briefly displayed his "evidence" on a poster board before accusing Smith of perjury. There's just one problem -- Schmitt's facts were totally wrong. Smith was actually in Maryland at a Hawkeyes (not a Hawks) game and never met Willis. As Klobuchar told him, "You have your teams wrong." Here's the whole deeply embarrassing sequence:

We’re not gonna actually fix this part but until we do college football won’t be healed. The machine started moving the wrong way when the coaches salaries and buyouts skyrocketed.
The Senate rejected an amendment that would have capped coaches' salaries at $5 million. Sen. Cory Booker's amendment would also have limited buyouts to 1 year's pay and required coaches to sit out for 1 year after their second job change.

This is, unfortunately, an amazing example of how warped our brains can be. I see parents and sometimes even coaches who get this blinded during a U10 soccer or basketball game. I saw it this weekend. I’ll see it again next weekend
This USC radio broadcast footage is just straight embarrassing.
