that’s a very redundant relationship with music. music has always been an interactive art. if an option to change the bpm is anti art so is djing, remixing and sampling.

i think every musician/producer that falls into this line of thinking needs to look at the historical industry application of varispeed. many artists usually sweeten the final master, the way they released it wasn’t even the way they originally envisioned AND recorded it.
some people think that music is a product that you can shove it to people "as-is" wth
imo, music, is to express yourself, your take, perspective, and opinion, as an art. and its valid for other people to have their take on YOUR opinon, in the form of remixes.
