I trust the voters of Vancouver over a paper owned by an American hedge fund thanks.
Amy Hamm: Vancouver votes for more drug chaos and street disorder nationalpost.com/opinion/van…
When I was in elementary school, we went through singing 3-4 iterations of O Canada alone. I think reciting the Lords Prayer afterward came and went when the Conservative governments came and went.
It looks like all but one of the candidates I voted for were elected to Council. Thanks Vancouver!

So she was murdered?
A college student was raped and murdered. That’s the word you omitted.
A college student died after she was drugged and raped in a New York City college dorm room, federal prosecutors announce. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/new…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Prosecutors allege the student died from complications of acute fentanyl intoxication after the defendant supplied the drug he knew was lethal, rendered her unconscious and raped her; he faces charges including distribution of a controlled substance resulting in death.

Managed to get this fall's flu and covid shots today. They won't do much for this weekend's event with 200 youths, but it may do something to prevent the acquisition of plague during next weekend's event.
I just heard that Salah Bachir passed away last week. Personally, as a past large donor supporting a specific program at The 519 in Toronto, meeting Salah during that time was an unforgettable experience. He brought a warmth and love to everything he did

Where do the @timhortons customers think the Harry Potter glitter came from?
Today in Vancouver I committed to making sure every woman in B.C. gets the care she needs, at every stage of her life.
For generations, women have been gaslit and ignored when they tried to get medical help. We’ve made real progress, and there’s more to do.
Our plan will:
1. Open Canada’s first perinatal mental health unit at BC Women’s Hospital, so moms in crisis can heal with their baby by their side
2. Cover non-hormone menopause treatment through PharmaCare for breast cancer survivors and women who can’t use hormone therapy
3. Let pharmacists prescribe local vaginal estrogen, so it’s faster and easier to treat recurrent UTIs
4. Make menopause care part of everyday primary care and cut delays in diagnosing women’s health conditions
5. Strengthen community sexual and reproductive health services across B.C.
The BC Conservatives’ candidates and health critic champion private, pay-for-care health care. We’d rather ask those at the top to chip in a bit more, so women get the care they deserve. That’s how we build B.C. strong.
Wiped after today. I have 25 people to email tomorrow before I attend a manditory safety meeting for this weekend's event. I think I may remember signing up for a barre class on Thursday, following a 10km run and 1km swim.
Super busy exceptionally great day today!
1. >3 hours of workouts
2. Opportunities to support the lefty communist do gooders in both the city and provincial governments
3. Unexpected lawsuit money from Oracle
Today's run was short. I do love me some sea level, though I don't think the being 600ft above for a bunch before today had any influence.
Felt surprisingly good, but the seawall was closed in the middle—as is typical this time of year. Planning inside park runs for the future.
Waiting for my watch to charge before going on my first Vancouver run since June...I know my fitness level is low, and I have a few months to return it to normal. But I'm just glad I have the ocean, trees and mountains to witness how much this is going to suck.
