Even with the best skills, best plans, and best knowledge, the final product sometimes falls short of ideal. Nothing #hardwork #leaders can’t fix though. As a #leader are you humble enough to accept a miss and then get right back to fixing it? #leadermill
A little reflection on this #SelfCareSunday. I’ve watched the neighbors’ fields since #Covid started. #teachers - this is just another season, another part of our journey. U R amazing! Give yourself grace. #teacherwellness #distancelearning #BackToSchool #mindfulness
Finishing the first week of my 19th year as a teacher, 6th as an instructional coach. Wow, this school year is one for the books. Grateful for the amazing Ts and Ss of @SanPasqualHS #MoreThanaSchool #educhat #BackToSchool #FridayFeeling
A true friend, an amazing #teacher, a mentor, a light in this world. I’m heart broken and will miss my friend. #grateful for her wisdom, kindness, and the impact she had on the lives of so many #students and #teachers
Some of those I admire most are those with the ability and heart to truly listen. May we all speak out regarding injustice. But may we also work to listen and to learn.

Today marks the end of my 18th year. My Ss engaged in a year long conversation re our identities, culture, & the power of sharing our stories & listening to others’ w empathy & love. I’m committed to equity & contining this journey. #BlackLivesMatter #MoreThanaSchool #whyiteach

It’s up to all of us—Black, white, everyone—no matter how well-meaning we think we might be, to do the honest, uncomfortable work of rooting it out. It starts with self-examination and listening to those whose lives are different from our own.
It was so tough to take my #classroom down but it’s just one of the many things we #teachers do to keep our #students safe & healthy. My students and I had a truly amazing school year despite #distancelearning & #quarantine. Goodbye #flexibleseating but hello #summertime.
New update re AP Exams & makeup request. @SanPasqualHS
We reopened makeup requests for any student who took an AP Exam but didn't successfully submit answers, even if their 48 hour request window has passed. The makeup request deadline is tomorrow, May 24, at 6 pm Eastern Time. cb.org/requestmakeup

Shout out to Oscar Vera, @SanPasqualHS lead security, for going above & beyond for our students, faculty, & staff. Oscar wears many hats at SP, but his primary one, building relationships with kids helps SP be #MoreThanASchool #SPstaffAppreciation

The most frequent question after today's AP U.S. Government and Politics exam: I forgot to write my AP ID or initials at the top of each page. Do I have to request a make-up? The answer: No, we can score your work even without that helpful info.
Love that College Board is inviting guests into their live AP classes. @Eduranmath @cbyrnes11

@SanPasqualHS April 19th update:
During this time of crisis, I have kept this phrase in mind: Embrace the ambiguity with patience, flexibility, and positivity.
We are in this together. We will get through this. We miss you. We love you.
