Israeli settlers continue to terrorise Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank, setting fire to homes, vehicles and a mosque in another attack on civilians.
Families were forced to flee as property was destroyed, leaving communities devastated and living in fear.
The Israeli government continues to shield violent settlers from accountability, while Israeli forces have repeatedly been accused by human rights organisations of protecting settlers during attacks, failing to intervene, and in some cases using force against Palestinians instead of stopping the violence.
This entrenched lack of accountability has allowed settler attacks to increase with few consequences.

This is a truly disgusting and shameful scene, in which hundreds of men (many supporters of Ben Gvir) were physically attacking a single woman and a New York police officer protecting her, violently throwing objects at her and chanting “death to Arabs.” Of course, what the “pro-Palestine” protesters did in Crown Heights was incredibly unhelpful and immensely foolish, but that doesn’t mean retaliating against a defenseless woman who was clearly not posing a threat. If you look at these scenes and think this is somehow a great display of “fighting back against antisemites,” you’re not only misguided, but quite honestly, you’re a coward. It’s never ok to attack women like this – shame on all who participated in this despicable act of violent hate!

In addition to being repeatedly kicked in the back by the mob of pro-Israel supporters chanting “Death to Arabs,” the video shows one man heaving a full garbage can into the woman’s legs, knocking her off balance. Moments later, another hurls a traffic cone straight into her head, stopping her cold. She lets out a sharp yelp, recoiling in pain, as the officer rushes her toward a police car while the mob screams, “Get ’em!”
At one point, the racist mob—made up largely of what appear to be Orthodox Jewish men—encircles her, taunting her with explicit threats of rape as the crowd grows increasingly frenzied.
