🇹🇼🇮🇷 The Iran war's most dangerous casualty might be your phone... Taiwan makes 90% of the world's advanced chips. Those chips need two things from the Strait of Hormuz: helium from Qatar to cool silicon wafers during manufacturing, and LNG to keep the power on. Taiwan gets roughly 70% of its helium and a third of its electricity fuel from the Gulf. The island has 11 days of LNG storage. Helium evaporates from tanks within 45 days regardless. Qatar's Ras Laffan has been bombed multiple times. A third of global helium supply vanished overnight. TSMC alone uses 10% of Taiwan's entire electricity output. No power, no chips. No chips, no phones, no cars, no AI servers, no modern economy. Put simply: Tech giants are spending $650 billion this year on AI infrastructure that depends on a supply chain running through a warzone. 🇨🇳🇹🇼 U.S intelligence says China prefers to take Taiwan without force and has no fixed invasion timeline. Smart. Because a military invasion would be catastrophic even for China. Taiwan sits 100 miles off the Chinese coast, fortified, armed, and prepared for exactly this scenario. China has the numbers. Taiwan has the terrain, the preparation, and a powerful navy standing behind it. China wants Taiwan. It just doesn't want to bleed for it. Source: Reuters

After reading through the 33-page term sheet for the Chiefs' new stadium in Kansas, I think it's one of the most lopsided stadium deals in NFL history. Kansas is essentially giving the Chiefs $3 billion (stadium funding + mixed-use development funding + tax incentives), yet getting virtually nothing in return. The Chiefs get to keep 100% of the revenue from all stadium activities, including ticket sales, concessions, sponsorships, naming rights deals, personal seat licenses, and more. That applies to NFL games and all other events (concerts, basketball games, etc.). Kansas will own the stadium, with the Chiefs paying $7 million in rent annually. But that money doesn't go back to the state; it goes into an account the Chiefs can use for renovations, repairs, and operational expenses. That means the Chiefs can use their own rent money to hire stadium security, parking staff, and concession vendors throughout the season. I know Kansas had to offer a great deal to get the Chiefs to leave Arrowhead, but this is worse than I expected. Here's a full breakdown of everything I found in the term sheet: huddleup.substack.com/p/the-…

The NFL is filing copyright claims on X from any user (including those in the media) who posts video of the missed false start by the Eagles 👀 People have ALWAYS posted NFL clips on X for years. The NFL has never done this before 🤣

4 of the 7 tush push attempts from the Eagles win over the Chiefs included early guard movement you be the judge. None were flagged - officials need to figure this play out
I'm not anti-tush push. It's a skillful play - watch any team not named the Eagles and Bills try it I am anti-illegal plays. Yesterday's examples made the game way less enjoyable

Patrick Mahomes has been an NFL starter for seven seasons, and the worst finish of his career is losing in the AFC Championship Game — both times in overtime. In the other five seasons, he’s made the Super Bowl. Just not normal.
