🚨 NOW: Mike Rogers opened tonight's Michigan Senate debate the RIGHT way, by laying out exactly how bad things have gotten.
He's a former Army officer and FBI special agent, and he made the case that he's used to handling hard challenges.
He said Michigan has lost 27,000 MANUFACTURING jobs in the last eight years.
He said Michigan has the highest utility bills in the Midwest and the highest auto insurance rates in the country.
He said Michigan's schools have fallen to 45th in the nation.
Then he warned that El-Sayed's carbon tax would add more than $2,000 to your costs and about 20 cents to every gallon of gas.
One candidate wants bigger government and more taxes. The other has a plan to get Michigan working again.

Peggy Flanagan literally served on the committee where whistleblowers came forward to expose Minnesota’s childcare fraud.
She skipped the hearings, was informed of the fraud allegations, and failed to act as whistleblowers pleaded with her and Tim Walz to address the problem.
🚨 BREAKING: I’ve recovered audio from a 2018 Minnesota House Subcommittee on Childcare Access and Affordability hearing, a committee on which Rep. Peggy Flanagan served.
Peggy Flanagan was ABSENT when whistleblower Scott Stillman warned that Minnesota’s CCAP fraud scandal had the potential to become “Minnesota’s Watergate.”
She was notified of the hearing. She chose not to attend. The warning was even recorded and sent to her.
Stillman warned that the fraud could exceed $100 MILLION.
Years later, Minnesota has been rocked by massive fraud scandals, now estimated to be in the BILLIONS.
Peggy Flanagan had an opportunity to confront the warning signs in 2018.
But she did nothing.

Ilhan Omar calls her dad “an educator.” He was actually a colonel in Siad Barre’s army.
That’s the same regime behind the Isaaq genocide, where roughly 200,000 civilians were killed.
After Barre fell in 1991, Omar's family fled to a refugee camp in Kenya and came to the US in 1995. Her father would’ve had to hide his military record to get in.
The entire family's citizenship is fraudulent. They should all be removed from our country immediately.

Texas, the left is showing up early. The only question is whether we are.
Counties all over the state just posted record midterm turnout on the first day of early voting. Harris and Dallas set records. So did Montgomery, Ellis, Bell and McLennan. Fort Bend had 31,793 voters on day one, almost double the 2022 midterm. Galveston had 13,656 when 2022 only saw 8,604.
Even the consultants admit Democrats are the most fired up right now. I don't care what the pundits say. I care whether conservatives get off the couch.
Early voting runs through October 30, and Election Day is November 3. President Trump is coming to Lubbock and Waco next week. Grab your spouse, your neighbors and your church family and go vote. Texas does not go blue on our watch.
