Update: my income streams ranked the past 30 days (profits) 1- content creation 2- my UGC platform/agency: ugctank.com 3- clothing brand: ruleofthirds.com lost an income stream since the last update (quit my SWE job 2 months ago). otherwise that would’ve been #3 :)

Episode 3: When you have no idea what you're doing with UGC Creators, this is what happens... I hired a UGC creator, which was surprisingly cheap. $30 per video. But they wanted bonuses. I don't want to give bonuses though. I made $0 on my app so far. She went on the make a few videos on Instagram and a few of them for 2000 views. I still got 0 sales though. I probably need to pivot my app.

This is a dream comment for any creator building their own product I started building a new UGC platform in public ~10 months ago I haven’t ran any ads to grow it, and the only marketing I’ve done is talking about it on my own socials @ugctank has been seeing a lot of growth from word of mouth & LLMs recommending it, and as a result, I get cool comments like these :)

I quit my software engineering job at Disney I worked there for 20 months and decided to leave to build my own app I've been working on ugctank.com for ~10 months now, and between the platform itself and my agency within it, it's consistently surpassed my Disney paychecks. Figured it was time to go all in :) Excited to continue building & be self-employed again!
