Thankful for small miracles, like waking up feeling semi-decent for the 1st time in 2 weeks.

You can barely notice the difference...

For a country with: • overtaxed citizens • no family physicians • overflowing E.R's • 12 months+ waiting lists for critical surgeries • a disturbing push for MAID (doctor assisted suicide) from the government... We sure do hear a lot about our "free healthcare," eh?

So far, maybe 100 friendships formed... currently only a dozen or so current "friends" The odds of making any new friends: slim to nonexistent. The math doesn't check out.

Just watched this guy pass my house, wearing the dumbest " 1hr Before Sunset Bike Ride" outfit ever. Earth tone shirt & helmet and camo pants, the perfect Lo-Vis clothing to practically guarantee getting run down by an inattentive driver.

Just had to pay $1500 for 2 tires and an alignment, just to get my truck safetied. Now to go spend the better part of a year's salary to buy the damned thing. Nothing like spending nearly $60K in one morning 🤮

Most people would be glad to get a day off in the middle of a work week. I've gotta take time off to buy out my leased 2022 Silverado, and I feel guilty about missing time at work. The question is this: Am I crazy?

We are hosting our daughter's 5th birthday party today. Having a difficult time deciding the best way to describe the chaos of wrangling half a dozen 5 year olds: 1.) Herding cats, 2.) Chasing chickens, Or... 3.) A waking nightmare.

Another day of pain, fatigue, and misery. The amount of backlogged tasks at work warrant working 12 hr days for the next 2 weeks, or working 7 days straight for 2 weeks. Nothing like a 2hr midday meeting to throw a wrench into an otherwise productive day 🙄
