hey guys! i'm moving on from my current comms job at Able (able.co.nz) and am putting it on here because it may be pretty perfect for a journo/media person sick of being a journo. it's cool mahi (NFP), media-related, fun times. more here: tinyurl.com/4bd8nsfs
kia ora. i am leaving @MetroMagNZ, and we are looking for a new food editor. are you a writer who wants to talk about auckland's very good food scene and occasionally start shit? (not required but is a plus) please apply! DM me if you have any questions

Past Pasture employees spoke to me and @kirsty_fong about their experiences working there for the latest issue; the full story is now online now.
TLDR: “The food is great,” one past employee admits, “but is that enough to justify everything else?”

i have a story in the new issue, out tomorrow, on fine-dining restaurant Pasture. it is regarded as one of the best restaurants in New Zealand, but former employees spoke to me and Kirsty Fong about underpayment and working in a toxic environment
Replying to @MetroMagNZ
Also: @chris__schulz spent a night with Auckland's ghostbusters, Bob Harvey spent a lifetime with Tim Shadbolt, @jmnicholls protected Pūtiki, and @jeaninprogress investigated accusations of underpayment and a toxic workplace at fine dining restaurant Pasture.
thinking about the fact i ate supermarket bbq sauce for this major nz media company and they haven't even paid out an invoice i filed in march..... bbq sauce.....
