Vangelis' passing is a sad one for anyone who has been fascinated with synthetic sounds. I had a copy of his greatest hits when I was growing up and I still constantly find myself referencing his work.
For that reason, I always wanted to do a cover and in 2016/2017 I finally did "Chariots of Violence", a cover of Chariots of Fire with my own twists and oddly enough, no synthesizers. I cut a little vacation video from Hawaii to go along with it.
Thanks for the music and inspiration, Vangelis.

11 years ago I opened for the @googoodolls at the @The_Auditorium, and John Rzeznik stopped their hit “Name” mid-song to give me a shout out. Thanks to Carlo from @TourBureauBand for getting it on video!
It's been 2 years since the release of LOSS. An album that changed my trajectory as an artist, leaving the one-man-band world behind in favour of a full-band sound. It was also the last release I had the chance to tour properly, …
So in honour of it being 2 years since the album was released, I've created a 20% discount code for my entire online store. Grab a record, grab a shirt - the whole thing's on sale. Use "loss20" at checkout.
