Guess That Pokemon - Halloween Cup Day #6 - COMMENT YOUR GUESS Tip #1: Legendary Tip #2: Deep Slumber

Pokemon Card of the day #22: Hop's Wooloo

Are we excited for more Yuka Morii cards???? Well you'd better be, because I'm posting this regardless! Today in "Metal Energy Pokemon", we have the infamous trio: Pawniard, Beldum, and Ferroseed. Pawniard is one of those Pokemon that never really caught my attention, but seeing this Yuka Morii rendition has given me a new appreciation! Maybe it's the samurai helmet, or just the fierce attitude, but I am rooting for this little trooper! Beldum is..peculiar, I can't really describe it in other words. Evidently, as Metal as a Metal Pokemon can be! No doubt about that. And if you fuse two of them together, you get Metang. Interesting how that works, hm. This Beldum looks a bit lost, though,so let's all work together to get it home safely, yes? 🥹 Ferroseed is a Pokemon that, if you only heard the name and never saw it, would make you say "ah, yes, Grasss-type, like a seedling". In reality, it is a Metal seedling, of sorts, which makes it both interesting and potentially dangerous. And why does it have SO MANY spikes, wtf?!?!! Imagine stepping on one of those as you walk through the forest 😱 I love all Yuka Morii cards but these three, they make me wonder about how these particular Pokemon came to be. Yes, every Pokemon is born out of an idea, often combined with existing creatures. I don't think either of these three falls into THAT category, though?

It is fun to slowly piece together Storm Emeralda base set at the fraction of a cost for booster packs and booster boxes.

Let's end the day on some cute Pokemon cards, by none other than Yuka Morii! We have a nice trio of Water Pokemon for today: Chewtle, Froakie, and Snom. Chewtle is one of those Pokemon that kind of resembles a hoodlum - in the anime sense - but it is also a rather happy littlle creature. The head is way bigger than its shell or even full body, which is quite comical. Froakie needs no introduction, but this rendition is definitely one of Yuka's best work i think. Not only is he smol and precious, but he's also got a hand in the air to make a "peace" sign?!?!?! How does that even work with clay? That must've taken a while..... Snom is...well, Snom. Not necessarily hiding but definitely trying its hardest to blend in (and failing, in this case). Still very cute and worth protecting, though! Someone bring some ice to keep our friend cool please! Which one is your favorite and why?

I think this is my new favorite Baltoy card 😊

You know what time it is.... GUESS THAT POKEMON Tip #1: it's not red Tip #2: Grass Type

I do not have a Pokemom bulk bin spending problem, I have no idea what you are talking about 😤😤😊 (This is from the past 2.5 weeks)

It can be quite frustrating to open up multiple slim Chinese Pokemon booster boxes of the same set. The duplication rates are brutal, and pull rates often abysmal.

Unveiling 5 More Japanese Pokemon AR Cards!

It is Saturday, or Caturday, or Slowbro Energy Day!

I am not super excited about Storm Emeralda right now but this card, I do want, as well as the TOMATO MARKET one from the set.

I Pulled The Prettiest Art Rare From This Set!!!

This Starmie design and background art absolutey slaps. Not fully underwater, which is also nice! Very soothing scene by @mokuseiap I am eager to hear your thoughts 🥰

First time seeing this Pokemon (yes, I've been out of the loop for years, relax) but i instantly vibe with it . Why? * goofy smile * colors work * the background does a lot to complement the pokemon * the *confused eyes" look is funny * I initially thought that was a weird Pikachu offshoot 🫪 * turns out it is actually a panda, which is cute! * has no evolution so plenty of future potential? * only 9 cards feature Spinda? Wtf?!?! 🤨 * last seen in Paradox Rift (which is now out of print) Time for a Spinda comeback id say. Thoughts? 👇

Ah yes, my new friends, so cozy 🥰 Curious to see who their final friend becomes tomorrow!
