🇺🇸 During the U.S. Open men’s final, the broadcast clock hit 0:07 and the camera cut straight to Pierce Brosnan... Promote that cameraman immediately 😂 Writer: Sol

Los aficionados de los Kansas City Royals tenían 30 segundos para conseguir juntar el pan con la salchicha y si lo lograban, todo el estadio ganaba hot dogs gratis. 🌭

Never forget the American who looked Fauci in the eye, refused the COVID vaccine, and called him out on camera. Still one of the ballsiest moments of the entire pandemic.

The only piece worth reading about Messi and Argentina right now. From the start, the hate campaign felt inorganic—and this exposes why. The implications are frightening, reaching far beyond one athlete, into how narratives are manufactured and public opinion weaponized.

This is getting weird… Messi was 19. It was 19 years ago. He wore No. 19. Lamine wears No. 19. The final is on July 19. Goals combined for Argentina at this World Cup? 19 You can’t make up a script like this!
There was a 1 in 625 trillion chance this photo of Lionel Messi bathing baby Lamine Yamal would ever happen. "Families entered a raffle, Barcelona players were assigned by random lottery, and somehow 20 year old Messi ended up pairing with this five month old baby, and that's Lamine Yamal right there." "The probability of this happening says you are more than 2 million times more likely to win the Powerball Jackpot than to have this script play out. It is roughly equivalent to picking one specific second out of 20 million years, 1 in 625 trillion, insane."

Jude Bellingham reflects on his clash with Lionel Messi during England’s World Cup semi-final defeat to Argentina. 🗣️ “Football is played with emotion, and in a World Cup semi-final I let that emotion get the better of me. I tried to provoke Messi because I thought it might distract him. Looking back now… it was probably the worst decision I made all night.” “We were leading 1-0 and I felt we had control. After our exchange, he didn’t argue back. He didn’t lose his temper. He just looked at me, gave a small nod and walked away. At the time I didn’t think much of it.” “But a few minutes later, I realised exactly what that nod meant.” “It was like he had accepted the challenge. Suddenly every time he touched the ball, something dangerous happened. He stopped forcing things, started controlling the tempo and made the entire game revolve around him. Then came the two assists that completely changed the match.” “I’ll never forget the moment Argentina scored their second goal. I looked over at Messi and remembered that nod. That’s when it hit me. I just stood there thinking, ‘It’s over… he’s done it again.’” “I’ve faced great players before, but I’ve never seen anyone respond to pressure like that. Most players react with anger when you provoke them. Messi reacts with football. That’s what makes him so frightening.” “I regret trying to get into his head because all I did was bring out the very best version of him. We had one foot in the World Cup final, and he ripped that dream away with two moments of pure genius.” “That nod wasn’t frustrationit was confidence. Looking back now, I think Messi already knew something the rest of us didn’t. Once he reached that level, deep down I knew England were in serious trouble.”

Everyone is praising Messi and forgetting Cuti Romero really beat a press like this from England. A simple mistake here would have cost Argentina. 😭

Dear Winston, This was your country’s 3rd consecutive loss at the hands of the Argentine national team. Your view today from your expensive seats with your equally rich friends were witness to a British defeat that will be remembered much longer than the Malvinas island conflict.
Do the argentines not remember when they surrendered to the British land forces in 1982? 🏳️ 🏳️ Don’t start wars you can’t win
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
England has not lost three consecutive matches to Argentina; their previous meeting was a 3-2 win for England in a 2005 friendly, with no matches between then and the 2026 World Cup semi-final. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argentina…

This picture will always be a reference point for us. Mbappé, for example, won the World Cup. But when it came to Messi, he knew where the line was. He never tried to manufacture a moment against him or speak disrespectfully about him. But this guy? I genuinely wonder where all this confidence comes from. Has he achieved something extraordinary with his club? Barcelona have dominated Real Madrid repeatedly, and for the last 2 seasons he’s ended up empty-handed, while Spain also outclassed England at the Euros. Has he won a Ballon d’Or? A Golden Boot? Anything? Or does he play for a club that used to dominate Messi? Messi practically spent 16 years tormenting Real Madrid. He scored 26 goals against them alone. Yet somehow he thought provoking the greatest player in football history was a good idea. In the end, he got his answer on the pitch.

Jude just slapped Barco during Argentina's celebration, but don't expect the same people to care. If an Argentine player had done that, X would've been in full meltdown mode.
